Her Last Journey

I'm still sitting in my room as I am surrounded by broken glass, ripped books, scattered papers with the mess that I created last night. I am in the same sitting position I was 7 hours ago and I didn't get any sleep as I only stared blankly at the bare wall in front of me. My alarm clock started to ring loudly as it was telling me to get ready for school but I didn't budge. I ignored the loud ringing of the alarm and emerged myself in blackness once again as all I could think of was death...my death.

I sighed as I was starting to get sick of the loud sound from the old clock and I got the energy to get up and turn off the damn alarm and once I hit the snooze button, my small apartment was filled with peace once again.

I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling and I couldn't help but find it relaxing. The simplicity of it was admirable as no paint of the outside world dirtied the pureness of it. That is why my entire complex is white, because it gives me the hope that good will always overcome and win the bad but right now, I'm not so sure if that really applies to my life anymore.

"Should I go to school?" I asked myself as I sat up and looked around my apartment

I got up and headed towards the bathroom and started brushing my teeth and washed my face, a daily routine that I do when I wake up. I looked at the mirror and forced myself to smile but that smile had quickly washed away and I sighed

"I can't do this," I murmured and sat down on the cold tile floor of my bathroom. I leaned against the drawer underneath my sink and I felt exhausted. I felt the energy drain out of me so I closed my eyes and fell asleep there.

I didn't know how long I've been sitting in my bathroom but I knew that I had to change myself in order to gain the attention of others quick so I got up and grabbed my wallet. I ran out of my apartment complex and ran towards the closest beauty salon near my house wearing my school's uniform. I discovered "Beautiful Hair" after running for 5 minutes and I rested my hands on my knees as I bent forward, breathing heavily. After catching my breath, I entered the large shop.

"Hello, how may we help you today?" a worker asked

"I'd like a makeover," I simply stated and she stepped back in surprise

"But why ma'am, you look gorgeous as you are," she confessed and I blushed as it was the first time I've heard such a compliment from anyone

"T.Thank you but I'd like to change my hairstyle and makeup please," I asked and she nodded her head slowly as she started to understand how desperate I was

"Come this way," she motioned and led me to a seat and I sat down and waited for the hair stylist to come

"How'd you like to change your hair sweetie?" the lady asked and I looked up and smiled softly

"Umm, I'm not sure. Can you just decide for me?" I asked cautiously and the lady giggled and nodded her head

"Mmm, let me see," she started and spinned my chair 360 degrees so that she could see me entirely

"Ok, I'm going to get rid of your bangs. They are not suitable for you, instead your hair would just split in the middle. I'm also going to dye your hair a light brown color and then give you layers," she informed in a rush and I just nodded my head at the end and she went to grab her materials and started to work on my hair.

I closed my eyes and trusted that she'll just work her magic and when I opened my eyes, it took a while for my eyes to adjust to the light which shows how long it took for the lady to finish my hair

"Do you like it?" the lady ask
