Yesung doesn’t know why but he’s head over heels in love with Kyuhyun.  There is no rhyme or reason to this, it’s just always been this way.  All Yesung knows love is the only explanation for his fluttering heart, blushing face, inability to speak a coherent sentence and, above all, the fact that no matter what all he wants to see is that sparkling and cheeky smile on Kyuhyun’s face.   

Yet, even if Yesung had the courage to speak to Kyuhyun, he would never have the courage to.  Why? Kyuhyun was obviously head over heels in love with his first ever friend, Donghae. However, Yesung is a daydreamer and loves nothing but to dream of “what if scenarios”. What if he owned an aquarium so big he could have a family of turtles? What if the worlds core stopped spinning? What if, the person Kyuhyun has always liked was him?  Yes, to Yesung’s mind the possibility of the world’s core stopping spinning was the equivalent of Kyuhyun actually liking him.

This was not the only thing that was nearly impossible for Yesung too, how to deal with the snarky Cho Kyuhyun especially when his school mate left his mind in a blurred mess. With one exception, when they were singing. The only connection or similarity they had was when they sung.  That’s when the world made sense.  His mother often complains he sings nothing but sad songs, but in singing these heartfelt and borderline angsty borderline songs with his crush, is when he is truly happy.
