On a seedy street in the seediest part of town, with es and gang members roaming the trash-littered roads like the birds would freely roam high above the streets, the sight of a run-down apartment building wouldn’t be of a surprise. But there was one particular apartment, painted brick red with moss growing on the sides, and inside this apartment was a door, painted light blue and peeling with age. This door was old, termite-infested, the remains of old graffiti littering its once fancy wooden carvings, the brass handle dull and smudged with grime, with the numbers 106 messily carved into the brittle wood. This door was, in fact, like any other door in the ratty building, with its stained and vandalized state, but the room beyond the door was unlike any of those in the building. This door, that stood right at the end of the narrow, grungy hallway, led to a room unlike any other. For this room was the place of a special agency not unfamiliar to that part of town. That room was where six men, the best of their kind, meet and do their business. That small yet well-kept room was the unofficial headquarters of the Shinhwa Service Agency.
