Outta Nowhere

Outta Nowhere

He was walking slowly down that street illuminated by lanterns and cheerful stands that smelled of candies. His thoughts were interrupted now and then by the screams of the children who were laughing and screaming happily.

How long he didn't return there. He still remembered the first time when he was there with him, walking hand in hand, thinking that nothing and no one could ever separate them.

Now he was there alone, going towards an unknown direction, following the flow of his disjointed thoughts.

His smile was still alive in his mind, despite the evil they had encountered and that had dispelled the thought of a possible future together.

Yunho was the perfect person for him, he knew it, but maybe the world was not perfect for them.

Not far from that street there was a boy riding his motorbike, running fast on the asphalt with the wind that was caressing his body. He was on his way to a small town on the beach. That beach where he and Jaejoong had celebrated the birth of their love, years ago. And now that it was all over, he couldn't do anything but go back to that place, hoping to live for a second time those wonderful memories that were beginning to fade in his mind.

He hadn't seen him for so long... and the thought that he had forgotten their relationship was killing him. He wanted to see him, more than anything else. He felt stupid to go there every year hoping to find him. But sometimes love does make stupid actions.

Their career had destroyed them but, despite everything, they had preferred fame than love. He had regretted his choice. Had he repented too?

Jaejoong took off his shoes, enjoying the feel of the cold sand caressing his skin. He remembered too well that beach and he didn't think he would ever have the courage to return there. Yet there he is, going closer to the water, enjoying the slight breeze in the air.

He walked looking down and trying not to start crying thinking about their memories. He had never been a great sentimentalist and didn't want to become it further. He had already cried enough.

He left behind a long trail of footprints that faded with the passing of time and he was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't notice a pair of feet not far from him.
“Jaejoong…..”

That voice. He couldn't forget it or confuse it. That voice that filled every day of his life with sweet words. That voice that woke him every morning and that made him fall asleep every night.

He looked up slowly, like he was a bit scared, but then he saw him.

His bright eyes were there, staring at him in disbelief, while a few drops of sweat were running across his face, starting from the temples. His lips were parted and sensual as he'd always remember and now, the urge to hug and kiss him became louder and more troublesome in his head.

Why was he there? Why at that time? Why was he there with him?

"Jae.." he repeated slowly in a sigh, without raising his eyes from the guy in front of him. He was always so beautiful.. Just as he remembered. His pale and delicate skin was shining under the light of the moon and Yunho couldn't help but think how perfect he was. And how much he missed him.

"Yunho.." he whispered feebly, while big tears began to make his way in his eyes. His nose was pinching and hands were shaking. He knew he would burst into tears, but this time he didn't care. Having Yunho close to him granted any tear to get out, even without his permission.

He began to cry copiously, unable to restrain himself.

"I missed you" and, saying so, Jaejoong threw himself on him, intertwining his arms behind Yunho's neck who, touched by this view, couldn't help but return the embrace.

He loved him, even after all this time.

By now you could only hear the sobs of the dark haired that still had his face hidden on  Yunho's shoulder. The latter tried to calm him his hair slowly, cradling it as if it were the first time.

"I still love you, do you know that, right?"

Yunho slid these delicate words out of his mouth before placing a gentle kiss on Jaejoong's lips. He wasn't worried about a rejection. Despite everything, despite the time, they loved each other and nothing would ever change that.

They parted shortly after, losing each other in the eyes, eager to love.

"I know. I love you too but .. This won't be the last time I will see you, right? "

"No. It won't be. It will never be the last time for us."
