Darkness can be a terrible thing.
Darkness, a stranger of happiness, a cascading hole of never-ending hurt. Darkness is what becomes of a person unloved, of a soul left to roam on its own, rebounding off anything that might place it home. Darkness is what becomes of one who sees nothing, of one who has no words to speak, of one who becomes a void, a blackhole to society. Darkness is living eternally in the worst moment of one's life. Darkness is what speaks at night; 'unloved, unloved, unloved...' over and over again in the very recesses of one's mind.
Yes, darkness can be a terrible thing indeed.
