Part 2: Chapter 6
Wolf - Primal Instincts: Part 2Chapter 6:
“Luhan?” So Hee said softly.
“Hmm?”
“What happened that night?”
Luhan’s face closed off and he turned away. “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you,” he said. He dropped his spoon into the empty bowl.
So Hee nodded. “Okay,” she said and gripped her hands together tightly in her lap. “I’ll tell you something unbelievable first, then you tell me what happened and we’ll see whose is weirder.”
He looked back at her, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but he didn’t say anything.
“I have dreams sometimes,” she started. “Weird dreams, I don’t always remember all of it, but I remember enough that when I wake up, I know something bad is going to happen. And it does end up happening, just as it did in my dreams.
“When I first met you on the roof of the abandoned factory, I had a dream that night. I didn’t remember enough of it to know what was going to happen, but I woke up scared as if it had been a nightmare. The only thing I really remember is that you were in it.” She looked at him now when she hadn’t been able to before. “I knew something bad was going to happen when you went out with the guys. I was worried that you were the cause of the bad feeling and my dream was warning me away from you. But now, after looking back at that night and piecing it together with my dream, I think it’s just the guys that were after you that I sensed. My dream was warning me about them – the ones you saved me from on the roof, the same one that came after you that night. The dream wasn’t warning me away from you. But you were the only part of the dream I remembered.”
He seemed a little paler, but she didn’t know if it was because of what she was telling him or because his condition wasn’t good. His brows were still furrowed, but So Hee thought it was more in thought now than confusion.
“I don’t normally tell people about the dreams. I’ve never told my family. I guess I’ve always been afraid they would look at me different. I know what it’s like to fight to ignore what makes you different so you can pretend to be just like everyone else.” she admitted bef
