No matter how nice Zitao was, his heart was still held captive, although the tie had loosened. Just a little more time and he could have freed it with Tao’s help.
As promised, Jongin had let go of him and Sehun immediately missed the proximity, missed the heat that was emitted by Jongin’s body, seeping through his clothes and warmed his skin. He felt lost and helpless, drowning in the swirl of emotions the other had unleashed, but his calm surface wouldn’t give it away.
“Thank you,” he breathed out, closing his eyes for a second to collect himself. One second of tranquility, one second of peace, before everything broke down with plump lips crashing on his thinner ones. He was unresponsive, too much in shock to react, but when he realized what was going on, he raised his hand and slapped Jongin across his face, eyes blinking rapidly to understand the situation and to prevent the tears.
