It was morning and the female had herself seated onto one of her couches with a mug of coffee. There, she sipped quietly while watching a gag show on TV; she sighed boredly not knowing what to do since she had a free schedule. She was lucky enough to even be free, but it seemed like she wanted to do something more interesting than stay home alone and watch TV all day. It was then she decided to go out for a morning stroll.

It helped clear her mind most of the time, so why not use that free time to do so.

She smiled getting up from the couch and putting the unfinished coffee on the kitchen counter, “Oh! I think I hear my phone?” She said to no one in particular hearing the familiar text message ringtone. The figure walked quickly towards her handheld phone (which was in the living room coffee table) seeing the lights on her phone go on and off; she hurriedly unlocked it. “Hmm~” She hummed amused at the recent text message giggling to herself quietly before answering back the sender. Once she had done that, she locked her phone and headed straight towards her room to change into a new pair of clothing.

Ten minutes later of preparing what she needed going out like: her wallet, keys to the house, a water bottle, her phone, and some earphones for the jog. She nodded in approval seeing she had everything done on her checklist, “Alright! Let’s go!” She exclaimed excitedly already out the front door. But, before walking out the door she was feeling self-conscious to check that everything (key word: stove) was turned off knowing that last time she almost set her house on fire. She shuddered at the experience while double-checking anything flammable and explosive was .

With another nod she was back at the entrance of the house, “I’ll be leaving now!” She yelled into the empty house to, again, no one in particular. It was just a bad habit of hers to be greeting or saying her ‘farewells’ before leaving or entering the house. After all, she was living alone with her parent’s living further away from her. But to pursue her dream she had to make deep sacrifices and leave her parent’s for the time being. She promised herself she would get enough money to pay for her parent’s to live in a new home near her own.

JINGLE!

Ji Hyo locked the doors with a satisfied smile. She needed to work hard to reach that dream.

All the way, from her house to a nearby park she grinned seeing not many people up in the morning, only with the exception of the elderly exercising themselves. “Well…now it won’t be swarming with fans,” She thought with relief. Ji Hyo really didn’t want to go through the whole ‘oh-look-it’s-Song-Ji-Hyo-from-Running-Man!’ scenario again; it happened to her once before and let’s just say…she wasn’t in one of her best moods that day. The female shook her head out of the thought and put on a determined face, “Fighting Seong Im!” She cheered herself on before jogging into the fairly empty park. With her phone in her hand she unlocked it and pressed the music app icon and plugged in her white earphones; she tucked the phone in her back-pocket satisfied with her song choice and started to jog.

It had already been half an hour since jogging along the trail; which went around in circles.

Feeling drenched, she wiped the sweat off her forehead as well as grabbing her shirt moving it in a quick motion cooling her chest and her back. She stood in a daze with silence and her right leg supporting her weight; she had begun to think about the earlier text message she got and a small smile appearing on her face. “Maybe a second cup of coffee wouldn’t hurt…” She muttered to herself before shaking her head. “One more round and then I’ll leave!”

Like that the feminine figure had, yet again, begun to jog another round around the park.

After finding a decent cap to put on (not like the one’s she wears on the show) she heaved taking a seat in the small café. She quickly told her order the waiter who smiled gleefully in return asking her if they could take a picture together, and she complied with his request. With a few shots and clicks the boy bowed 90 degrees thanking her repeatedly before leaving with her order. She wore a small smile on her face seeing the workers in the café working smoothly and talking to other costumers as if they lived there with them…it was cozy.

Ji Hyo had a personal fond over these types of shops because it always made her feel at home. And without a doubt the people here treated her so kindly and patiently knowing she would probably be stressed about the fans noticing her and make a small riot in the café. They felt like family to her. “This will definitely be a place to hang out often!” She declared with the thought noticing the small, yet cute designed looking mug in front of her.

She mumbled a small ‘thank you’ showing off a smile, the waiter in return also gave off a dazzling smile. It had been half an hour or so since staying at the small café with the boy coming from time to time to ask a few questions (as a fan) and also about any more further orders, “No thanks! I’m alright thank you.” Ji Hyo saw the depressed look on the boy as he began to sulk back into the café’s kitchen just to be yelled at by the owner. She couldn’t help but to laugh quietly, I mean, the situation was quite comical so wouldn’t it only be natural to laugh? But obviously in good way!

“I apologize deeply for my staff’s unusual behaviour Miss Ji Hyo-sshi!” An elder man came out bowing in apology with his head held low, “Probably in his early fifties…” Ji Hyo thought and laughed at the man joyfully. “No no! That’s alright…don’t worry about it really. I enjoy company~ I would also like to say that your shop is really stupendous! I should come here whenever I am free~!” She sung in a playful manner, but in all seriousness. The man raised his head looking at the female’s expression surprised at the comment. He felt a small blush cover his cheeks; how this woman radiated her happiness off him made him feel giddy inside, with a huge grin he replied, “Oh! Yes! T-thank you very much Miss Ji Hyo-sshi!”

She just waved a hand light-heartedly, “No problem!”

The owner had left a couple minutes later leaving Ji Hyo to continue sipping her coffee. A minute or two later she ended up having to scroll around her phone for the text message earlier, frowning lightly seeing she couldn’t find it.

Her eyes lit in happiness once she had found what she was looking for and opened the message…

Hello Ji Hyo! This is Jae Suk oppa! ^^

Listen…I was thinking about the day before yesterday; you know that night when told us what happened with you and PD-nim. Well, I just want to give you a piece of advice before you go finalize your answer with him! I know you’re probably worried about what will happen to you in the future (especially with your CEO and the company) but you do not have to worry! I’m sure PD-nim will understand your reason for the ‘Monday Couple’ concept and boyfriend issue…just make sure you plan out your words carefully, okay? I’m sure you-know-who was also worried about his marriage plans affecting the show…but HaHa oppa’s okay now isn’t he? So don’t worry Ji Hyo! You’re not alone on this, me and Suk Jin – all of us are supporting you.

So please don’t feel discouraged. I’m filming Happy Together 3 right now and I’m on my break, and I was thinking of you and your state right now. It was because one of the guests was talking amongst an issue like yours, but I hope you’re alright now!

Let’s go drink coffee with each other sometime, okay? My treat! ^^

She shrugged at the thought not wanting to think about it anymore and pondered in silence, “Thank you Jae Suk oppa…” She whispered quietly to herself not noticing her now empty cup of coffee; she jumped not feeling the hot, bittersweet liquid run down and smiled.
