Don't you ever feel that definite sense of dread in your stomach? Creeping up between organ tissue like sickness in the dark, clinging to your very being and slowly eroding it away with unforgiving teeth and sharp talons? Do you ever feel like something might go wrong-- something will go wrong? You can feel it in your heart that the natural balance of luck and misfortune is going to be thrown off in a fit of terror and discord. Out of fear you begin to hide behind your back and wrap yourself in a blanket of insecurities as you dream of waking up to your parents yelling at you to get up before you're late for school even though you know that all you'll awake to is the sound of death knocking on your door. Crimson stains your vision as you fall into dementia and lunacy because you keep beating lies into yourself. 

 

But the truth will find you. It will sniff out your denial and scour the landscape in search of your petty disbelief before stamping it out like an ant to a boot. You can't lie to yourself and say that everything is going to be alright. Because it won't be. Everything is going to go wrong.

 

Krystal knows this. But even in her state of enlightenment, she can't bring herself to care. As long as she's alive and well, not a of concern will be thrown to the wind.Why does it matter if the world falls apart around her? Why should she worry for the well being of others when she was never spared any of the sort? She shouldn't. And she knows that.

 

And so that's why she doesn't care.
