The Circle

Description

There's something about death that's always intrigued me.

Maybe it's the unknown and unheard, the being of what we don't know exists.

Maybe it's the idea of nonexistent state of being.

Maybe it's the fantasy of being remembered and longed for.

Or maybe, just maybe...

Foreword

Entry for: s u p e r h e r o -- a writing challenge
Prompt no. 4: “Death is just life’s next big adventure.” – J.K. Rowling

This is my first time writing about Yongguk (or BAP), my first time entering a writing contest and my first attempt to write something actually meaningful. The formula for this story isn't that good cause there are a lot of unknown variables but we'll see how it turns out.

The story is told in first person's point of view and it revolves around the themes of life and death and features some of my personal ideas on what happens when we die or what a person would want in their death. I attempted to write a scenery of the most beautiful place possible but of course, it is up to everyone's own taste whether they find it appealing or not.

"The Circle" was originally meant to be just a temporary name but I grew quite fond of it as time passed. If I come up with a brilliant replacement, I might change it but as of now, I'm content with the name.

I hope you'll enjoy and if you do, please leave your thoughts in the comment section below. Thank you!
