A small warning - this story is about acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). I have done plenty of research into this, and I'm hoping it's all acurate. If not, then I apologise for any negative feelings in advance.
Through this fic, I hope to show that idols are not the indestructible superhumans that we may think they are - they obviously have feelings too, and the same amount of mortality as anyone. There are plenty of things that we don't know about their lives, and this is purely fiction - I'm sure Yoochun's life isn't quite like this, and I highly doubt he has a seven year old son already. Well... I sure hope not. ;)
This is a revised version of my other story, When You Weren't Here. Though they may seem the same at first, it is a different story, trust me. Keep an eye out, as you may find you like this version more - don't hesitate to subscribe.
I have decided to change the characters to attract a wider range of readers, as I think the issue addressed in this story is one that everyone should be aware of. Things like this are real.

Yes, the father and son have different surnames, but this is because I refuse to change anything about Haneul. Besides, fathers and sons with different surnames are not unheard of in this world.
