Laying in his bed, eyes trained on cell phone, JaeJoong was wiling his phone to ring. It HAD to ring, right?! He said he’d call him. He said he’d let him know how things went after he was done talking to his mom. It was foolish really. Of course, all the boys in the dorm cared about what their parents thought. It was definitely a given. But to go so far as to shut out a potential soulmate (okay he wasn’t that delusional, but it’d be nice, right?!) simply because your mother disapproved of a certain uality? Shouldn’t YunHo’s mother be happy he found love?

JaeJoong kind of understood where she was coming from though. You hear about the idols who previously committed suicide or were even shunned from the companies for coming out. JaeJoong and the others were such close friends with someone who came out and was instantly dropped from all projects. Seok-Cheon was able to bounce back from that though. Or rather, well enough. JaeJoong and Seok-Cheon always went out drinking, talking about things…real deep things. Seok-Cheon actually knew about JaeJoong’s love for YunHo for quite some time and always urged him to tell him, however with the group split up for so long it had been difficult. Now that the group was together though, JaeJoong had been waiting for the right moment.

Well, last night had been as good a moment as any other. YunHo and JaeJoong had shared a kiss…or rather…several kisses. At first JaeJoong was terrified the other would push him away. No, he KNEW the other would push him away. He’d just wanted that kiss so bad. But when YunHo returned the kiss passionately enough to push him back on the bed and it turn into something a little more steamy…well…that’s when JaeJoong knew that they HAD to be soulmates, right? Sure, YunHo played around with the others as far as skinship went, but he’d never made out with them, right? For all the others knew, YunHo wouldn’t ever like a male and was always with one girl or another. The rest of DBSK was convinced that YunHo was going to marry BoA one of these days and they’d have beautiful little bilingual babies (because everyone knows BoA would teach them Japanese from the womb).

But to think…YunHo CHOSE to kiss him back. CHOSE to push him against the bed and deepen the kiss. JaeJoong’s body was still tingling the next day from where YunHo’s hands had roamed to before pulling away shyly. The two then talked for a few hours afterwards before eventually falling asleep. JaeJoong could remember falling asleep in YunHo’s bed, however he then woke up the next morning in his own bed with a text on his phone saying ‘Gone to see mom, call you l8r’.

Sighing, JaeJoong rolled over on his bed and pulled one of his pillows to his chest. Suddenly there was a knock on his door, causing JaeJoong to shoot up and stare expectantly at the door. Was it Yunho? Did he just come without bothering to call? “Come in?” JaeJoong said, a smile on his face. Well. That is until he saw it was ChangMin coming in with a corndog in one hand and then another in his mouth. “Hungry hyung?” Changmin asked, offering the one in his hand over to JaeJoong.

Plopping back down on the bed, JaeJoong shook his head and said “Ani…” while staring up at the ceiling. Changmin then shrugged and said, “Okay, I just figured I’d offer since it’s the last one” Before JaeJoong could stop him, ChangMin then took a bite out of the one he’d offered to JaeJoong. No take-backs apparently. Shrugging though, JaeJoong wasn’t too concerned with food at this point. It was a day off for the group and he wanted to go out and have fun rather than stay curled up on his bed, however he couldn’t really think of anything to do that didn’t include YunHo.

Once Changmin left with the corndogs, JaeJoong stretched his arms high above his head while still letting the pillow lay on his chest with his phone now laying on his throat. He’d definitely feel when YunHo called him with the phone on vibrate. No way he’d miss it. JaeJoong was getting more and more antsy though. So finally sitting back up, JaeJoong turned the volume up on the phone and moved to stand up, slipping the phone in his pocket.

Leaving his pillow on his bed, JaeJoong went to wander around the house. He heard Junsu and YooChun in the back yard earlier, playing with a soccer ball or something. He wasn’t entirely sure what exactly they were doing, but JaeJoong was certain if it was up to Junsu they’d be playing soccer. Lately Yoochun has been playing quite a bit of golf though. It’s a shame he couldn’t play any serious golf in the back yard though. Soccer was definitely easier to play.

Hearing a meow behind him, JaeJoong looked towards Jiji with a smile and then picked the small grey cat up. “Annyeong Jiji-ah” He cooed at his cat and it’s fur. It sometimes felt like a zoo around here with the amount of pets they’d all collectively brought into the house. JaeJoong alone had brought three into the house, two dogs and Jiji here. “Are you hungry Jiji?” JaeJoong asked the cat while petting it behind it’s ears. A soft meow came from Jiji, causing JaeJoong to smile and carry the feline towards the kitchen so he could scoop some food into it’s bowl, as well as the bowls for the other pets around the house.

Just as JaeJoong got into the kitchen, his phone started ringing loudly. Jumping a little, he haphazardly set Jiji on the counter and then reached into his pocket to answer the call. It was Yunho! “Yobosaeyo…JaeJoong speaking” He said sheepishly, knowing very well it was YunHo on the other line calling his phone. ‘JaeJoong. Are you busy?’ YunHo asked on the other line. It sounded like he was driving. Nodding a little, JaeJoong pet JiJi’s fur and walked over to where the pet food was kept for their various babies. “Mmm very busy. I can finish it quickly though, wae?” JaeJoong asked, smiling a little and pouring some food into Jiji’s bowl and then taking the water bowl over to the sink. ‘Do you want to meet up? I’m hungry…’ Not sure if that was a good thing or not, JaeJoong couldn’t help but smile wide.

Suddenly, YooChun and Junsu entered the house, Junsu’s arm wrapped around Yoochun’s shoulders as they chatted about…something. Quickly biting his lower lip to hide the smile, JaeJoong nodded a little with an ‘mmm’ in response to YunHo’s question. “Sure, where do you want to meet?” He asked, piquing the interest of YooChun and Junsu. “Who are you talking to, Hyung?” Junsu asked, leaving Yoochun’s side and practically dancing the rest of the way to the kitchen and then leaning against the counter of the island Jiji was sitting on. “YunHo…” JaeJoong said casually as if he hadn’t been waiting for this moment all day.

“Where are you going?!” YooChun chimed in and leaned against the counter next to Junsu. JaeJoong then looked away with a shrug. “We’re going to get some lunch…” not even bothering to invite the others along, JaeJoong was going to quickly duck for cover and run like a child, however ChangMin then came into the area from the living room, causing Jaejoong to frown. “Uwahh I’m hungry too hyung! Lets all go!”

Not sure what quite to say, JaeJoong watched as Junsu and Yoochun chimed in that they were hungry and wanted food too. The trio then started to go get ready without even accepting JaeJoong to say no. They had no idea that the two wanted to go and eat together and talk. Sighing, JaeJoong turned back to his phone and said, “It looks like we’ll be having company…” quietly so that the others wouldn’t hear the disappointment in his voice as he put the water bowl on the counter for Jiji and then headed back to his room to finish the conversation quickly and then get ready to head out.
