Killing an Angel
Description
Suho goes missing just after an interview. He’s subjected to unspeakable horrors during his time in captivity, but the worst part is that they tried to convince him that nobody cared for him, especially not s. While he managed to hold on he had almost given in to their lies and by the time the rescuers reached him, he had a deeply implanted idea that maybe him members really didn’t care for him after all.
In the months that followed he was hospitalized then released to go stay with his family. After about 3 months without leaving his room or bed his parents, SM, and his counselor decided on a desperate move. They shipped him off to a secluded house in the middle of nowhere, out of the country. They sent EXO with him and kept the whole things as secret as possible. Now, EXO is faced with trying to shine light into their Angel Leader’s past and regain his trust.

Foreword
They think I can’t hear them. But I can. I can always hear them. I never stop listening, I can’t.
“Are you sure it’s a good idea? What if he gets worse without us?” My mother, she’s always so concerned.
“Like I said, his problem is not something we can deal with. He needs to work this out with them.” The counselor replies soothingly. I snort in my head. Work out the problem, sure. I will totally do that.
“I promise Mrs. Kim, we’ll take care of him.” I start at Kris’ voice. Why is he here?
“He’s one of us, we are one. And that means we care for each other.” D.O. is always acting the part of the caring mother.
“He’s our brother, we’ll look after him.” Luhan adds.
There’s a sigh and some murmured words. I hear a car start up, feet start milling around, doors slam, and the car drives off. Only my mother and father’s voices are left. After a moment I hear the door open and they walk hesitantly over to me.
I feign sleep and they sigh, a soft had presses against my face and my mother’s lips ghost over my forehead.
“He’ll be fine; we’re doing the right thing.” My father assures her. The hand retracts leaving a cold spot behind.
“I hope you’re right.”
My father’s hand my cheek for a moment, and then they turn to leave.
“Sleep well, Joonmyun.” The door clicks shut. I relax a bit and roll over, tugging the covers tighter over my face. Here I’m safe. Here it’s warm, when I’m here, away from everything I can forget.
I feel my eye’s relaxing as sleep stealthily claims me.
