Part 03 : Protection

She was sitting on my couch and I, on the far opposite side of her.

"Who is she?" I ask curious to know.

"She needs your help. Only you can help her."

"But how? I don't even know her."

"She needs a place to stay for a while. Someone out there wants her dead. Your job is to protect her."

"What? Are-are you telling me I have to pro-protect her?"

She nod her head.

"If she dies then the world will end."

I laugh. I must be crazy! I'm going crazy.. Right?

"You may think this is all a joke, but it's not.
She's the one who knows how to protect you human beings.
She's the key to you human's life.
If she dies, then your world will be corrupted."

"Do you know what you're telling me?
How can I believe what you just said? Do you have proof?"

"I don't need proof. I know you can do this job well.
You must protect her. You must."

I.. was too shock to make a movement..

Is she dead serious about this matter?

Who is this lady that I have to protect? Why me out of all others? What do I have that they don't?

"You must never tell anyone about this matter you understand me?"

"How.. how am I suppose to know if this is true or not?"

"Prepare yourself well. Her life is in your hands now."

And with that, she disappear just like she did in my dreams.

Who are they? Why are they corrupting my life even more?
