“It happened when we were I think at the age of 12. But I’m younger than him for half a year, so he is like a big brother to me. He and my brother are close. But we are closer. He always fought for me when I was young, and Kris promised him that he will never leave my side when Chanyeol is not around. The three of us grew up together. Kris became Chanyeol’s best friend. Sometimes I felt left out before, but they always made sure that I’m their only Princess, where Kris is the King, I’m the queen and Chanyeol is Kris’s right hand, or in a wedding his best man. We haven’t talked to each other until today.” I explained.

“So why did you fight?” Suzy asked.

“Its not us, it’s our parents. They can’t agree on the business they were talking about, then it lead to a big fight. You know, how adults are when it comes to money.” I said.

“So, since then you guys never talked?” UEE asked.

 

I nod.

 

“But if he is rich just like you guys, why is he one of those nerds riding some bicycle?” Suzy asked.

“Chanyeol is the type who does not want to show off his wealth. Even before, his parents always offer him his own butler, drivers and maids, but he does not want any of it. He as you could say my total opposite. He wants to be independent.” I explained.

“But what’s with Kris? If they are best of friends, why didn’t Kris talk to him?” Nana asked.

“They talk to each other secretly, I guess. Coz Kris knows I hate it when he talks to Chanyeol.” I explained.

 

They all just nodded in response.

 

“girls I think we should sleep now.” Suzy said.

 

We nodded and slept.

The next day we all went to school together.

With smile plastered on our faces.

 

We entered school the usual us.

Went straight to our hang out.

 

There the Kingkas are sitting down.

But no sign of Kris.

 

“Guys, where’s Kris?” I asked.

“We don’t know. He went out.” Kai answered.

 

I nod.

I went out to look for him.

I’m really worried, the way he reacted to me.

 

I kept on walking on our hallway.

Finally I saw Kris.

It’s like he’s talking to someone.

Then….

 

I could feel tears starting to build up in my eyes.

My heart breaking into pieces.

I runaway, not caring if I’m still the school’s queenka, or not.

 

I went up to the school’s rooftop.

And cried my eyes out.

 

“Who’s there?! I can’t sleep!” A familiar voice said.

 

I didn’t care.

 

“Get lost! If you don’t want me to kick you out of this school, LITERALLY!” I said.

“Hey, hey. I was the first one- Hana?!” He asked.

 

I sobbed harder.

*Maybe I'm hurt?*

 

Then I felt him touch my shoulder.

I hugged him and cried.

 

“Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked.

“I-I don’t know… I –I feel… weird.” I said.

“Shhh… Tell me slowly.” He said.

“It’s… Kris… I like him! But I can never risk our freakin friendship! I’m so scared!” I said.

“Stop crying now… What did you see?” He asked.

“A-a- girl… ki-kissing him…” I said slowly.

 

I felt he hugged me tighter.

“Stop now… Come with me, just let Kris think first…” He said.

 

I nodded and looked up to him.

He wiped away my tears and smiled creepily.

 

“You know Chanyeol, that smile of yours is creepy but it makes me smile!” I said.

“I know, so let’s go! My friends are waiting for me.” He said I nod.

 

We went downstairs.

I’m clinging on his arm like we used to when we were kids.

Of course Kris and Chanyeol are both tall.

So I kind of looks like their little sister.

 

We went straight to the school garden.

There I saw Baekhyun with some other nerds.

*I mean Chanyeol's friends.*

 

“Hey guys!” Chanyeol greeted them.

 

They stare at us with wide eyes.

I smiled at Baekhyun.

He smiled in return.

 

“Come and sit.” Baekhyun offered.

 

I sat beside him.

In between Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

 

“Guys, meet my little cousin.” Chanyeol said.

“Yah! I’m not that little you know! You’re just a giant!” I protested.

 

He laughed.

 

“Hey! Stop staring at her!” Chanyeol snapped them back to reality.

“You ok now?” Baekhyun asked.

“Yup. Oh! Your shirt! I’ll give it back to you later.” I said.

“It’s fine.” He said.

“Wait, you guys know each other?” Chanyeol asked.

 

We nod in unison.

Chanyeol gave me this suspicious look.

I smiled sheepishly at him.

 

“Ehem!!” The guy with glasses cleared his throat.

“Oh, Hana these are my friends. Luhan, Xiumin, Chen and Lay.. And Baek- never mind you guys knew each other already.” Chanyeol explained.

 

I bowed slightly at them and smiled.

They stare at me weirdly.

 

“Yah! Don’t think of her as the school queenka! Think of her as my cousin!” Chanyeol exploded.

 

His friends nodded.

I know they are the school nerds.

They are one of the shadows.

But I know their faces since I always see Chanyeol with them.

So now, they are not the school nerds.

They are Chanyeol’s friends.

 

“Hey, Chanyeol’s right. Be comfortable, you will see more of me.” I said.

 

They nodded in response.

 

“Hey!! Talk!” I yelled.

 

They got scared and panicked.

I laughed.

 

“Am I really that scary?” I asked.

“No.” Baekhyun said and laughed.

“Yeah, in their perspective. Look how scary you are! They are guys!” Chanyeol said.

 

I giggled.

 

“Oh my! You know how to laugh?!” Xiumin asked.

“I’m still human you know.” I said.

 

Luhan took off his glasses.

He looks… good.

 

“Hi… How are you?” Luhan asked.

 

All of us laughed.

 

“I’m fine, and you?” I asked.

 

He nods then suddenly a smile plastered on his face.

 

“There. There. Don’t get too close to my friends. You might start liking them. Especially Baek- Aww!” Chanyeol said I cut him off with my elbow hitting his stomach.

 

I glared at him.

 

“Hey, we’ll be late for class. Let’s go!!” Chen said.

 

We walked back in school.

I’m clinging to Chanyeol’s arm just like the old times.

 

“What if your parents hear about this?” Chanyeol asked.

“Their problem should not affect us right?” I asked.

 

He nods happily.

We walked in the hallways.

Students giving us the look.

Some are even whispering.

‘Are they dating?’

We laughed.

 

“Since when did you guys start dating?! I never thought you were dating!” Baekhyun teased.

 

We all laughed.

We went inside our classroom.

All eyes on us.

Even my friends and the kingkas are staring at us.

 

“Hey!” I said they all snapped back to reality.

 

I could see Kris staring outside.

I hate how he broke his promise.

I thought I’m his only one, but I guess.

I’m too childish for him.

 

I sat down on my chair.

I’m not in the mood to talk to anyone.

Ever since I saw Kris with that girl.

 

I don’t want to talk to him.

I can’t handle it.

I know the tears will come rolling down.

 

I slept the whole class.

I could feel all the stares but I don’t care anymore.

 

Then at that time.

 

“Hana are you awake?” I heard my teacher.

 

I looked up to him and smile.

 

“Okay… I guess I should announce it now. There will be a group review for the upcoming test. But three groups will have seven members. First one, Myungsoo, Kai, Kris, Nickhun, Yongguk, Minho and Dongwoon. Next up are Chanyeol, Luhan, Xiumin, Chen, Lay, Baekhyun and Hana. Then  Suzy, Hyuna, Nana, UEE, Jiyeon, Tiffany and Krystal. Then BLAH-BLAH-BLAH.” Our teacher said.

 

I didn’t listen anymore.

I’m studying with the school brains, so this will be a piece of cake.

 

“Why aren’t you with us?” Hyuna asked and pouted.

“It’s alright, at least I’m with my cousin so it’ll be fine.” I said.

“And also with Baekhyun.” Krystal whispered and laughed.

 

“Wait, look at me, why are your eyes puffy?! What happened?!” Nana asked.

 

I shook my head.

I know how these girls react.

They will go all out to Kris and fight him.

 

“Nothing.” I said.

“Hana, don’t lie to us. We know you waaaayyy too much.” Tiffany said.

 

I shook my head and went to Chanyeol.

I could feel they look at me with worry.

 

“So let’s start later?” Chanyeol asked I nod.

“But where are we studying?” Lay asked.

“My house.” I said.

“Your house? But-“ Chanyeol said.

“Mom and Dad are on a business trip for a month so I’m alone.” I said.

“So your house it is!” Luhan said.

 

I smiled.

We went out of class ready to head to my house.

 

When suddenly…

 

“Can we talk?” Kris asked.

“No, we have to go.” I said coldly.

 

He grabbed my hand.

And pulled me with him.

 

“Let me go.” I said.

 

He lets go of my hand.

 

“What’s wrong with you?!” I asked.

“Why are you ignoring me?!” He asked.

“Remember what the last thing you said to me? Call you when I need you! But can’t you see? I don’t need you! Just go! For sure that is waiting for you!” I said and walked away.

 

I could feel the tears flowing down again.

Chanyeol saw me and pulled me.

 

“Get inside your car. Don’t let people see you like this.” Chanyeol said.

 

I went in my car.

But as usual,

Chanyeol and his friends rode their bicycles to my house.

I waited for them to arrive.

 

The guards opened the guys and they went in.

They parked their bikes outside and went in.

Mr. Sun is their smiling at Chanyeol.

He knows our family history, he took care of Chanyeol and I when we were little.

 

“Hi Mr. Sun!!! How are you? It’s been a longtime! You haven’t aged a bit!” The talkative Chanyeol is here.

“I’ve been good Sir. You grew taller as far as I could see.” Mr. Sun said.

 

We laughed.

 

“Mr. Sun this are our classmates, and Chanyeol’s best friends.” I introduced them they bowed.

 

I could hear our maids squeal when they saw these guys.

They are nerds but I got to admit it they have the looks.

 

“Ma’am what would you like to eat?” One of our maids asked.

“What do you guys want?” I asked them.

“Xiumin do the honors.” Chanyeol said.

“Can we have some pizza, chicken, shakes, steamed buns, fries, burgers and chips?” Xiumin asked.

“Yes sir.” The maid said and bowed.

“Re-really?!” Xiumin asked.

“wow! So this is the life of our queenka?” Chen asked.

“Wait! Maids listen! Do you girls think these guys are good looking?! Tell me the truth. Yes or no?” I asked.

“Yes!!!” They shouted.

 

I laughed.

I could see all their faces turn red.

 

“I’m the most handsome right?” Chanyeol asked.

“Yes!! No!!” The girls yelled differently.

 

I laughed so hard seeing Chanyeol’s pleased face.

 

“Okay enough with this. Let’s go to the living room, and just bring the food there.” I said.

 

We walked to our living room.

All of their eyes except for Chanyeol are amused.

 

“I’ll take you on a little tour later, so don’t worry.” I said.

 

They nodded in response.

We started our study.

But as time passed, I can’t understand it anymore.

Thankfully the food came.

The guys are too busy writing some notes down.

They stopped writing and attention are on the food but Baekhyun is too busy reading and writing.

 

“Baekhyun, let’s eat first.” I said.

“Okay, you go ahead, I’ll finish this first.” He said.

 

They all started to eat, I could see Xiumin’s puffy cheeks became full.

I got a piece of pizza and went to Baekhyun.

 

“Here take a bite.” I said.

 

He took a bite and continued with studying.

I continued on with eating and feeding him.

But I don’t know why I don’t mind doing this.

 

“Looks like lovebirds are here.” Chanyeol teased.

 

I watch as all their eyes turn to us.

I blushed unknowingly.

 

“Hana… is blushing…” Lay said as he points to me.

“I-I’m not! Why would I blush?” I asked.

“Hahaha! You’re cute!” Luhan said.

 

They all laughed.

I guess I need to my bad girl image back.

I stood up and walked to Luhan.

 

“I’m what?! Say that again, you won’t get out of here looking the same way.” I said.

 

They all gasped at my sudden change of attitude.

But as for Chanyeol he’s laughing.

 

“you think I’m going to say that right? Thank you, I know I’m cute but still thanks for the compliment.” I said.

 

Then suddenly we heard footsteps.

 

“And who do we have here?” A familiar voice asked.
