We walked back to the cabins.

Baekhyun’s arm is wrapped around my shoulders supporting me.

 

“Hana!” Tiffany yelled as we walk to them.

 

I went to them as they all check on me.

 

“You alright?” Nana asked.

 

I nod.

 

“That’s good. Come, let’s put some ice pack on your face. It’s starting to swell.” Nana continued.

“Baekhyun thank you for taking her back here safely.” Krystal said.

 

I smiled hearing this.

Then we walked back to our cabin leaving the guys out.

They helped me sit down on the couch.

 

“What happened to her?” I asked.

“Ms. Choi and the school board took care of her. A lot of students witnessed what happened so they are probably giving their testimonies.” Krystal said.

 

I nod.

 

“here put this on your face.” Jiyeon said as she hands me an ice pack.

 

I slowly placed it on my cheek.

It stings so bad.

I really got it bad there.

 

I hope this won’t get to my brother and my parents.

I don’t know what they might do if they find out about this.

I guess karma is coming.

 

When your changing it’s really is the time karma comes.

I sigh remembering the feeling of getting beaten up.

Never did I imagine going through that.

 

Then my phone started ringing.

 

“Hello?” I answered.

“What the hell happened to you?” Kris yelled.

“Kris, I’m fine now. Don’t worry.” I said.

“Why did you let her beat you up?!” He asked.

 

I sigh.

Kris is really pissed.

What am I suppose to say?!

 

“Kris… You know I’m changing, right? And I made a promise, that’s why I didn’t fight back and defend myself.” I said.

“Why now?! Did anyone stop her?! Or did they just watch?!” Kris asked.

“Baekhyun stopped her.” I said.

“Why did she do that?! Is she crazy?!” He asked.

“Kris please calm down… Everything is fine now so stop worrying anymore… Please.” I said.

“Okay… At least Baekhyun stopped her… And how are you two doing?” He asked.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“I heard you have a misunderstanding…Have you made up?” He asked.

“Oh Kris! How do you get to manage to know so much even if we are miles apart?! And yes we made up already! So enough with the questions! I’m hanging up! Bye~~ I miss you!” I said and closed my phone.

 

“What was that about?” Hyuna asked.

“It’s just Kris.” I said.

 

I continued putting the ice pack on my face.

Then knocking was heard on the door.

Jiyeon opened it.

 

Revealing a panting Chanyeol and a smiling Baekhyun.

 

“Hana!” Chanyeol said and run up to me.

“Are you alright?! I was so worried!” He said as he scanned my face.

“Oppa I’m fine. Please don’t tell this to my brother.” I said.

 

He sigh and lowered his head.

 

“Okay… But let me see…” He said and held up my chin checking my face.

“At least you didn’t get any wounds or else I’ll be dead!” He said and shook his head.

“I’m fine now… Thanks to Baek.” I said and smiled.

 

Baekhyun started blushing madly.

 

“Ohhhh… What’s up with you two?” Tiffany asked.

“Yeah, what’s up?! The two of you came back here in each other’s arms.” Suzy said and grinned.

“Oh shut up!” I said.

“Hana???” Chanyeol asked eyeing me suspiciously.

“What?!” I asked.

 

Baekhyun walked beside me and handed me some ice cream.

 

“Here, eat this. It will make you feel better.” He said and smiled showing me his crescents.

“Where did you get this?” I asked.

 

He slowly leaned in and whispered.

 

“From my heart.” He said.

“Yahh!!!” I yelled and blushed madly.

 

“Stop it you two!!! It’s irritating!” Chanyeol said.

“Why?! Are you jealous?” I said and smiled.

“Jealous?! Huh! Just stop it!” He said.

 

I laughed.

 

“Why can’t I have a girlfriend?!” Chanyeol yelled.

“Because you are not asking anyone out! It’s not like a girl would come up to you and ask you! That’s a guy’s job you know!” I said and ate some ice cream.

“Yeah… I guess you’re right. But still it’s not right to be all sweet with your boyfriend in front of me! I’m single you know!” He said.

“Boyfriend?!” The girls yelled.

“Yes, boyfriend! Baekhyun came running to us and said Hana and him are together!” Chanyeol blurted out.

 

I turned my head and glared at Baekhyun.

He returned me with a smile.

 

“Really?!” Hyuna asked.

“Yes, really! Right, Baek?” Chanyeol asked.

“Huh?!” Baekhyun asked.

 

I push him off the couch.

And pushed Chanyeol with him.

 

“Both of you, get out! NOW!” I yelled.

“Just tell them Hana!” Chanyeol said.

“Yes, just admit it. We won’t mind.” Krystal said.

 

I breathe slowly.

 

“So it’s true?” Uee asked.

 

I nodded slowly.

Baekhyun is smiling happily.

 

“Really?! Oh my!!! Yah! Baekhyun take care of her!” Hyuna yelled.

 

Baekhyun nods and stood up.

Sitting back beside me.

 

“I will.” He said.

 

He smiled widely at me and without knowing my face is slowly heating up.

I’m not sure if it’s the aftermath of getting so much slap or because of Baekhyun’s words.

 

“Okay, we’ll leave the two of you to talk.” Nana said and everyone went out leaving just the two of us.

 

“Let me do that…” He said and took the ice pack from me.

“I think this might hurt.” He said.

 

He took a hold of my chin and he slowly damps my face with the ice pack.

 

“Aww…” I winced in pain.

“I’m sorry!” He said.

“No no… It’s fine. Continue.” I said.

 

I closed my eyes as he continued on damping the ice pack on my cheeks.

Suddenly a soft thing is placed on my lips.

 

My eyes flew open only to see a smiling Baekhyun.

 

“Sorry. Couldn’t help it.” He said.

“!” I said.

“Hey! It’s not my fault you’re irresistible!” He said.

 

I hit his arm.

 

“Enough with your cheesy words! My face hurts like hell!” I said.

“Oh sorry!” He said while grinning and continued on with applying the ice pack on my face.

 

I closed my eyes again.

Slowly, the sting and pain subsides.

 

“Hana…” Baekhyun suddenly spoke.

“Hmm??” I asked as I keep my eyes closed.

“Do you really mean what you said earlier?” He asked.

“What did I say?” I asked.

“You know… that you…” He said.

 

I opened my eyes and stare at him with a smirk plastered on my face.

 

“That I?” I asked teasing him.

“That you… you know… like me.” He said as he rubbed the back of his head.

“When did I say that?! I can’t remember… Can you enlighten me?” I and moved closer to him.

Making the gap between us only inches away.

He swallowed.

 

I smirk once again and stood up.

I stand staring at him and took his hand making him stand up.

I placed my arms around his neck and started going closer.

 

“Wha-what are you doing?” He asked looking all nervous.

 

Then I hit his head and laughed.

 

“Yah!” He said and rubbed the back of his head.

 

I continued laughing.

 

“Baek~ do you think I would let you kiss me if I’m making fun of you?! What I said earlier is not a pigment of your imagination, what I said is what I felt. So stop questioning me, I might change my mind.” I said and continued laughing at me.

 

He stopped looking like a fool and smiled at me.

 

“I’m not dreaming am I?” He asked.

“Oh gosh! You are dreaming! So don’t ever try to go near me ever again!” I yelled at him and started walking going out of the cabin.

 

Then he pulled my arm.

Causing me to bump into him.

He wrapped his arms around.

 

“I’m just making sure.” He said.

 

I smiled at his words and wrapped my arms around him.

Just then my stomach growled.

He lets go of me and places his hands on my shoulder.

 

Slowly he placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

 

“Come, let’s eat. I don’t want my girlfriend starving.” He said and smiled.

 

My face is starting to heat up again.

 

“You’re so cute when you blush.” He said and slightly pinched my cheeks.

“Aww! That hurts!” I said.

“Oh sorry! I forgot!” He said and panicked.

 

I laughed once again.

 

“Stop making fun of me!” He said.

 

I pinched his cheeks and he turned to a shade of red.

 

“I won’t. You’re cute when you’re panicking.” I said and smiled.

“Okay, let’s eat. Your tummy won’t stop grumbling!” He said and chuckle.

 

We went out of the cabin side by side just to see our friends smiling widely at us.

I eyed them suspiciously.

 

“You guys didn’t do anything right?” Chanyeol asked as he walked near us.

 

I tiptoed to his level and smacked his head.

 

“Hey!” He yelled in his deep voice.

 

Everyone laughed.

 

“You guys stop thinking nonsense!” I yelled.

“These guys are weird!” Suzy said and went up to me.

 

“Everyone it’s time for dinner.” Ms. Choi announces through the speakers that surrounds the area.

 

Everyone slowly went out of their cabins and went to the kitchen.

I almost forgot that I still look like a mess from earlier.

I run back to my cabin and locked the doors.

 

“Hana!!” Baekhyun yelled from the door.

“What are you doing?!” Krystal yelled.

“Go first without me. I’m going to change.” I yelled.

“Okay! We’ll see you later!” Hyuna yells.

 

I hurried up and went to the bathroom and cleaned myself up.

I checked myself in the mirror.

And went out.

 

I’m wearing some shorts and one of the oversized shirts that Kris bought for me.

And a pair of sneakers.

I let my hair fall.

 

I applied some light make-up.

They can’t see me with my bare face.

Only the closest people to me are the ones who could only see.

 

I went out.

Slowly the chilling air got to me and I run to the kitchen before I freeze to death outside.

I searched for them.

 

And saw the biggest table for us.

I walked their and whispers are heard everywhere.

 

‘She’s not as bad as we thought she is.’

‘Why didn’t she fight back?’

‘She got a good beating. She deserved it.’

‘She looks good in simple clothes.’

‘Oh gosh! She’s so pretty!’

 

I walked slowly going to our table.

When suddenly…

 

“Excuse me… Uhm… Here… Enjoy!” A tall guy wearing some glasses said and handed me a box of cake.

“Thank you…” I said and smiled at me.

 

He only glances at me.

He keeps his head low.

 

“You’re welcome… I hope you’ll like it.” He said.

 

He’s face turning to a shade of red.

I giggled at his cuteness.

 

“I will… Thanks again…Zelo.” I said.

 

Then he looked straight at me with a shocked expression.

Then he smiled.

 

“Enjoy…” He said then he went his way.

 

He’s one of Ilhoon classmate so I knew him from him.

I can’t keep my smile as I slowly walked towards our table and sat between Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

I placed the cake in the middle.

 

I opened it just to see a strawberry flavoured cake.

 

“Wow! My favourite!” I said.

“Another admirer?!” Nana asked.

“I guess… But I wonder how he knew the flavour I like… Ilhoon??” I said and he smiled widely.

“I guess I told them…” Ilhoon said and smiled.

“Them?!” I asked.

“To all my guy friends I guess… They kept on asking me. And it slipped my tongue… Sorry Noona!!” He said.

 

I giggled at his words.

 

“It’s fine… At least I won’t throw this away…” I said and started eating the cake.

“Baek~ Ahh…” I said and gave him a piece of cake but he won’t respond.

“Hey… have some.” I said.

“I’m full…” He said.

“Looks like someone is jealous.”  Luhan teased.

 

Everyone laughed at him.

But Baekhyun won’t react like he use to.

A new side of him.

 

He’s easy to get jealous.

I nod in understanding.

And continued eating.

 

“Hana! Ask Baekhyun again. Don’t act like you don’t care if he ignores you!” Chanyeol said.

“I won’t force him if he don’t want to. I’m not that type.” I said and continued munching on the cake.

“Tsk. Tsk. Always a brat.” He said.

“It runs in the blood you know.” I said and smirked at him.

 

Baekhyun continued on eating in silence.

I also ate in awkward silence.

Everyone is so noisy but the two of us are I deep silence.

 

I sigh.

We haven’t lasted for a day yet.

And now it looks like we’ll be fighting or maybe ignoring each other.

 

It’s not my fault that a lot of guys are asking me out.

And giving me things.

It’s not like I asked them to give me.

 

But every time I don’t accept their gifts my friends scold me for being mean and rude.

And when I accept it, this is what is going to happen?

I continued eating not bothering to break the awkward, painful and irritating silence between us.

 

I can’t help it.

I slowly reached for his hand and gave it a slight squeezed.

He turned his head to look at me with a blank expression.

 

I pout at him.

Slowly his eyes soften.

I didn’t let go of his hand.

 

He pulled my hand and hid it under the tables.

He intertwined his fingers with mine and gave it a slight squeeze.

I giggled.

 

I guess we made up already.

Suddenly, everyone went silent.

They stared at me with weird eyes.

 

“Why are you giggling?” Kai asked.

“Nothing.” I said and put my poker face back on.

 

I could see Baekhyun smiling on my peripheral view.

He’s enjoying this.

Our hands are locked together.

 

But no one knows.

I smiled at the thought.

I continued eating with a silly grin plastered on my face.

 

Mirroring Baekhyun’s expression.

Slowly, we burst out laughing at the same time.

 

“What’s so funny?!” Chanyeol asked.

“Nothing.” Baekhyun said as he keeps on laughing.

 

He squeeze my hand a little bit.

My face is red from laughing and from blushing.

 

“You lovebirds need to stop before everyone’s attention turn to you.” Kai said and smirked.

 

I frown at him.

Even the kingkas know.

I stopped laughing immediately.

 

“Hana… If you don’t mind me asking had you heard from Kris?” Myungsoo asked.

“Yeah… He called earlier.” I said.

“Really? Because news are spreading around.” Myungsoo said.

“What news?” I asked.

“That he won’t be coming back for a long time. They said he’s under training for their company.” He said.

“Yeah I think so. But that is where we’ll all of us end up someday, right?” I said.

“Yeah… But it’s too early.” He said and shook his head.

 

I sigh.

It is a bit early.

But it is still what will always happen.

 

“Hey, don’t think too much.” Baekhyun said.

 

I nodded and smiled.

He smiled back.

Then we finished eating.

 

“Okay, let’s sleep!” Hyuna said as she stood up.

“That’s a good idea. And Baekhyun give us Hana back… for now.” Nana said and smiled.

 

I laughed and stood up.

But Baekhyun won’t let go of my hands.

So now everyone is staring at our hands.

 

“Baek~ You mind?” I said.

“Oh, yeah…” He said and lets go of my hand.

“Good night guys!” I said and smiled.

 

Then the girls pulled me with them and we walked out of the place and went to our cabin.

 

“Are we really sleeping already?!” I asked.

“Of course not! We need to know what really happened earlier… Or before… Everything. It seems like Eunyoung is not what we think she is.” Krystal said.

“Okay…” I said.

 

We all sat in a circle and talked.

 

“So what really happened earlier?” Nana asked.

“Wait… Why not let’s start from the beginning… When did she start threatening you?” Uee asked.

“A long time ago… I guess… Kris is still here at the time. We got into a confrontation…” I said.

“What did she tell you?” Suzy asked.

“She keeps on telling me to stay away from him.” I said.

“From Baekhyun?” Hyuna asked.

 

I nod.

 

“How did you know it’s Baekhyun?” I asked.

“Don’t be mad… But when I heard you’re misunderstanding with Baekhyun… I took a step and I hired some investigators… To search and know things about her…” Krystal said.

“Okay… But you girls are starting to creep me out.” I said.

“The creepy things haven’t started yet.” Suzy said.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Krystal told me about Eunyoung… And I asked my Dad about her father.” Uee said.

“Okay?!” I said.

“She’s just like us… My dad said she’s more spoiled than us and he could still remember when he first met them…” Uee said.

“Then…” I said.

“He said,, that Eunyoung is beyond weird… My dad exactly said ‘I know that girl. I once had a business venture with her parents. And that girl is too much. I overheard their conversations. She wants to have some plastic surgery.’ That what Dad said.” Uee said.

 

I nod.

 

“But what does that have to do with this?” I asked.

“Here…” Krystal said and passed me a paper.

 

I looked at it.

It seems like the report for the background check for Eunyoung.

But the girl in the picture looks different.

 

“Is this her?” I asked.

“Yes, before the surgery. From what I read there she had surgery because of some kind of obsession… I also checked if there was something between her and Baekhyun before… And… There is a connection.” Krystal said.

“Connection?” I asked.

“Yes. Connection. Baekhyun used to be a kingka, right? And at that time… Eunyoung was one of the girls who got obsessed with him… I also asked Sehun if it is true… And he said yes…” Krystal said.

“So?” I asked.

“We had this conclusion that Eunyoung is back to get Baekhyun… She went to some plastic surgery so he won’t recognize her… But we found out about it…”  Krystal continued.

“Are you sure it’s only that?” I asked.

“I showed Sehun the picture of Eunyoung before surgery and his eyes widen when I showed it to him… He said she was Baekhyun’s best friend… But… she developed feelings for him… But, Baekhyun can’t love her back…” Krystal said.

 

I can’t process this so fast.

So they were best friends before.

But she fell in love with him.

 

But he can’t see her that way.

Does Baekhyun know about this?

I can’t believe it.

 

But now at least I have the answers to all my questions regarding those threats.

 

“But Hana… We are telling you these for you to be careful… Eunyoung is powerful, just like us… We are afraid that this is only the start… She might comeback… So please, be careful.” Tiffany said.

“I will… And I won’t let her hurt me… Or us… Not again.” I said and formed my hands to a fist.

“Wait… Does anyone else other than us know about this?” I asked.

“Your brother knows.” Krystal said.

 

I nod.

I just hope he won’t overreact to this.

I don’t want to have body guards following me all the time.

 

“Girls… I think I need to sleep… I can’t process all of this so fast…” I said.

“Yeah you should…” Uee said and smiled.

 

I smiled back and lay down on the bed.

I stare blankly at the ceiling still processing what had just unveiled.

I can’t imagine what she’s capable of.

 

But whatever she does.

I will be ready for it.

 

I closed my eyes and forced myself to drift off to sleep.

Maybe tomorrow would be better.

Since she won’t be around.
