~At the School Gate~ 

JeongMi's POV 
I've been texting Donghui and Kyu since morning but none of them replied. 
What happened to them? Donghui confessed yesterday night...
Could it be...       
   
   Suddenly, my phone vibrated, oh, a text from Donghui. 
   
*DongHui_Awesome*
   'Mimi, I'm sick today, having a fever, won't be going to school.' 

Just as I finished reading the message, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around and saw Kyu standing in front of me. He looks... tired?
   
"What happened yesterday?" I asked him. 
   
*RINGGGGGGGG* 
   
Why did the bell rang at the wrong time???!!! 
   

"I'm going for lesson, bye." He said coldly. 
   
Even though we were always quarreling throughout the 20 years together, he never looked at me with those cold eyes before.
What exactly happened to them? Need to ask Kyu straight after school. 
   
#After School# 
   
 Kyuhyun's POV 
Throughout the whole lesson, I have been thinking of Donghui.
What I said yesterday was it too harsh? She ran out of the house crying. 
   
 Maybe I should go to her house later and talked to her again. I finished packing my books into my bag and went out of the classroom. 
   
"Ya! CHO KYUHYUN! " I stopped, and turned around. Jeongmi walked towards me. 
   
 I let out a small grin, "What happen to 'kyu'?" 
   
 I knew she was angry right now as she just called my FULL NAME. 
   
" Ya! What happen?!" Haizz, this girl. When will she learn how to calm down?

 "I'm going to Donghui house now, coming?" 
   
  Without replying me, she grabbed my arms and started dragging me out of the school to my car. Argh, this girl is always like this. 
   
 ~At Park Residence ~ 
   KyuHyun's POV 
   I stopped my car engine, that girl quickly got off my car with her bag and I saw her running into Donghui's house. 
   
    If Donghui tells JeongMi everything that I said yesterday, how do I face her in the future? 
   
   JeongMi's POV 
   I rushed into Donghui's house only to see her sister, Jessica sitting on the sofa with the TV on. 
   
   She turned her head and our gaze meet. 
   
    "YA! WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR?! GET OUT!" I ran quickly to DongHui's room, ignoring Jessica's screams.
   
     I heard footsteps following me towards Donghui's room and some high-pitched shouting. 
   
     I knocked on her door, no reply. I tried to open it, but it was locked. I searched my pocket and bag for her spare room key. 
   
      As I was searching for it, the door suddenly opened. I looked up and saw Kyuhyun's hand on the doorknob. He held up the key infornt of my face for a few seconds and walked into Donghui's room. 

When I was about to step inside... 
   
      *Bammm!* 
   
      The door is closed and locked. 
   
      'WHY THE HELL DID HE LOCKED THE DOOR?!'
   
      "YA! CHO KYUHYUN! WHY DID YOU LOCKED THE DOOR! LET ME IN TOO!" 
   
      I kept knocking on the door but there were no replies, I turned around and saw Jessica looking at me. 'Ohya! She must
      have Donghui's room key!'      
   
      "Ermm.. Unnie, do u have...." 
   
      "NO I DON'T HAVE IT!" Jeez, can't she even let me finished my sentence? 
       I turned back to the door, when I was going to knocked on the door again, I only know I was being dragged by Jessica. 
   
      "What are you doing?!" I shouted. 
   
      Why are Donghui and Jessica sisters but the character both of them them are totally different?
   
      It's lucky that Donghui is not the same as her sister, otherwise I'll probably hate her forever. 
   
      "Can't you just let them have a talk first!" Jessica shouted. 
   
      Talk? Maybe they should. Even though I don't know what
      happened, but a talk will be good for them. Next thing I knew
      was that I was being dragged like a small kid to the sofa by
      Jessica.

 Kyuhyun's POV 
   
      I heard JeongMi shouting my full name again. That means she's really angry.. But, I have to settle things with Donghui first. 
   
      "Why are you here?" I heard her voice. But it sounds weaker than usual.
   
      I turned around and got a little shock when i saw her. She was at her reading corner, with a book on her hands. Her eyes is swell and a little red.

      'Have she been crying?' I feel a little guilty now.. 
   
      I cleared my throat, "Donghui, regarding to yesterday.... I'm sorry if I said words that are too harsh, you've known me for
      years and you should know that the way speak isn't that
      nice. I hoped that we can still be best friends like the
      past. And.... Most importantly, please dont tell Jeongmi, I.. .... " 
   
      Jeongmi's POV 
   
      I've been sitting on the sofa with Jessica quietly for about
      30 minutes now and god knows how awkward it is to be beside a
      cold ice princess. 
   
      I've been checking for the time, When are they going to come
      out? Just then, i heard heavy footsteps, I look to the
      stairs, only see Kyu walking down by himself. 
   
      "YA! WHERE'S DONGHUI?! WHY DIDN'T SHE COME OUT?!" Didn't they
      have a talk?

      He patted on my head and said, "Check your phone later,
      stupid monkey. " 
   
      He finished off and went out of the house, just nice, my
      phone vibrated. 
   
      *Donghui_Awesome* 
   
      Mimi, you don't need to be worried, I'm fine. We are still
      best friends like before. I'm just tired and decided to skip
      school today^^ sorry for not letting you know beforehand.
   
      How can it be? Urgh. Nevermind, since she doesn't want to
      talk about it, then i should let it be. This is the first
      time she kept her feelings to herself and not let me
      know.... 
   
      Donghui's POV 
      Kyuhyun finally left my room, facing him is just too embarrassing. 
   
      *FLASHBACK* 
   
      KyuHyun gestured me to go in and I sat down on the sofa. "
      So? You said you have things to tell me, what's it?" KyuHyun
      speak up.
   
      "Er.... I... want to tell you something that might ruin our
      friendship but I feel that if I don't tell you now I'll...
      Regret." I glanced at him to see his reaction and was met by
      his poker face. 'Oh no.. What if he hates it?' 
   
      "Continue." KyuHyun said coldly. 
   
      "O~kay.. The thing is I...I've been in love with you for many
      years now. I know that you like JeongMi more but Heechul said
      you like me too, right?" 
   
      "No. Park Donghui," oh no, why did he call my full name? "I
      do not like you. I had never fall in love with you. As you
      know, I've been in love with JeongMi since we were
      young." 
   
      "But Heechul.." 
   
      "He was pestering me to tell him who I like more and I didn't
      want him to know that I like JeongMi so I said I like both."
      He cut me off. 
   
      I sat there speechless for a moment staring at him, I could
      not believe what I had heard. We been best friend for so long
      and yet..... I couldn't control myself any further, and I ran
      out of the house crying. 
  

*END OF FLASHBACK* 
   
      I buried my head in my pillow, how can I act as if nothing
      has happen between kyuhyun and I? 
   
      I should jus locke myself in the room for days before facing
      Kyuhyun and Jeongmi again... Maybe after a few days, they
      will forget it too. 
   
      ~ At Cho Residence~ 
   
       Kyuhyun's POV 
   
      I've been lying on my bed ever since i reached home from
      DongHui's house.. I thought about the words I said to Donghui
      this afternoon. 
   
      I know that Jeongmi's position in my heart will never
      change. But... I know clearly that Jeongmi only treat me
      as her best friend and that makes my heart aches. She've
      dated 3 boyfriends over the past 20 years so I know that she
      doesn't like me. 
   
      If I ever confess to her, our friendship will only
      break. 
   
      Watching her from far and just standing by her side to
      support her is enough. If she is happy, I'll also be happy, I
      shall keep all my feelings in my heart.... 
    

      Forever......
