Locked Away
Description
She has spent all her life in the house. In her eighteen years, she has only gone out of the house less than ten times.
Her parents are very possessive, and they never let her out. She is home-schooled, and she spends most of her time reading, painting, or drawing. Her room door is locked, and the only people who have the key are her parents and the maids.
Every day, she questions herself…
Why am I being locked in here?
Why…do I not have the right to explore the outside world?
And so, she tries to run away, but fails countless of times.
But then one day, she manages to escape, and she runs away.
She expects to find peace, happiness, joy…
But not everything goes the way she thought it would…

Foreword
The car screeched loudly as he gripped the steering wheel tighter, his foot pressing down on the brake as hard as he could.
The car stopped, and with wide, shocked eyes, he watched as the girl in front of his car stare at him with fearful eyes.
She had long brown curls, and her skin was porcelain and looked flawless. She wore a flowy white dress, and the way she looked at him made her seem like a little lost puppy.
She had ran out from nowhere.
He got out of his car, “Yah! Are you okay?”
Her lips parted as she was about to say something when some muffled shouts rang in the distance, growing louder by the second.
An ominous feeling grew in her as she shivered slightly.
Leaving him standing there stunned and confused beside his car.
She turned, and she ran.
