What are the Taekyung Games?

The Taekyung Games, named after the dean, Go Taekyung, is a survival game that ten students from his university will participate in. These ten students will be split into groups of two and then will be sent off to a secluded island in the Pacific. In the island, they will be placed in a fake city, complete with androids as "normal citizens". These students are to find each other and hunt each other down in attempt to win. 

When the students arrive in the island, they are placed in random sections of the city. They are marked with certain rings on their fingers that not only tell them they are a participant on the game, but are to be used to find their partner from the society.  In order to win the game, both the student and his/her partner must be alive. The two winners of the game will receive  9080000000.00 KRW ($8,000,000 USD), a private mansion and, not to mention, the load of fame they will receive for being a survivor of the school's deadly game.

What is Taekyung University?

Taekyung University was established in 1988 by Go Taekyung. It's a university, not for any normal student in Korea, but students who were born with special abilities. In the 1970s, an outbreak of citizens in Korea, due to some mishap of Earth's dimensions, began to be born with supernatural abilities. Go Taekyung, a twisted man in disguise, established the school in order to keep these "dangerous individuals" in a utopia with others just like him.  It wasn't until the school's tenth year of standing that he began to create the Taekyung Games. Unlike what most believed, both students and normal citizens were thrilled for the event. Students because it finally gave them an opportunity to use their abilities in some kind of showy fashion and citizens because it was a new source of entertainment. Ever since it was made, the Taekyung Games was a tradition in Taekyung University that only appeared once every three years.

Name: Kim Minjun [The Popular]

Age: 24

Abilities:

Kinetic Energy Manipulation: Minjun can manipulate kinetic energy, the energy created by any form of movement.He can transfer the energy from one objet to another, strengthening the attacks or even tearing holes in the wall with a simple touch.

Toy Manipulation: Minjun can bring toys, such as dolls and stuffed animals, to life. Once they are alive, they take the form of their toy self but act according to what Minjun wants. Toy guns, tanks, and building blocks can be manipulated by Minjun and can turn into real weapons. 

About: Minjun is one of the most popular guys in the university. He's a goody two-shoes and kind at heart, therefore he never actually did a senior prank. His friends forced him to put his name into the raffle, saying that at least he'd have the thrill of almost being chosen for the Taekyung Games. Unknown to him or his friends, Minjun had actually gotten chosen to participate.

Name: Horvejkul Nichkhun [The Manipulator]

Age: 24

Abilities:

Mental Manipulation:  Nichkhun has the power to control thoughts, movement, mindsets, and the brain function of others.

Nightmare Emboidiment:  (See Taecyeon's "Dream Embodiment".)

About: Nichkhun has everything. He has wealth, popularity, and a handful of friends at his university. It's his senior year and that means he'll be officially done with school and learning. To celebrate, he put his name into the raffle hoping that he'd be pick. He's in it for the prize and, although others may not know, he seems pretty hyped at the opportunity to kill.

Name: Ok Taecyeon [The Imaginative]

Age: 23

Abilities:

Ink Manipulation: Taecyeon has a variety of animal tattooes running down his arms. They consist of a  python, a panther, a lion, and a bear. He can manipulate those tattooes to come to life, the ink leaving his arm and becoming a shadow of the real animal, and can command them to kill whoever is in his path. However, if the animal dies, the tattoo vanishes. Taecyeon can also extract the words on papers or drawings into real life beings.

Dream Emboidiment:  Taecyeon has the power to have complete control over his own dreams and the dreams of people around him. He can attack anyone  in this state and kill them. If killed in the dream, the person in the real world dies too. However, this applies to Taecyeon as well. He can alter the dream world between reality and fiction, however, it is very confusing for him to do.

About: Taecyeon put his name in the raffle simply because he could. He did it as a joke with his friends, unaware that he'd actually get picked in the future. He has no motive in the program and is really just there for the experience now. Death isn't an issue to him, although he would like the wealth and fame brought if he did win the game.

Name: Jang Wooyoung [The Vengeful]

Age: 23

Abilities: 

Acid Generation: Wooyoung has hidden glands on his tongue and hands that secrete something similar to sulfuric acid. The acid can burn through flesh and posisbly even bone and, if exposed to a large damage of it, the wound cannot heal. Wooyoung, however, is immune to his own acid. He can melt even the strongest material with his acid.

Necromancy: Wooyoung can summon and manipulate those of the dead and communicate with those of the deceased. 

About: Wooyoung signed him up for the Annual Taekyung game because, simply, he heard Junho was signing up. He has a long streak with Junho and it's not a good one. He doesn't care about the prize in the end, the fame, or any of the glamour. Wooyoung wants to use this as an opportunity to finally get on a higher rank than Junho and knock him off his high horse. He seeks for revenge and, even more so, murder against the younger.

 Name: Lee Junho [The Tormenter]

Age: 22

Abilties: 

Diamond Mimicry: As a move of self-defense, Junho can turn his any part of his body or his body into pure diamond. Although he may be somewhat invincible in this form, he is weak against vibration emission and sound manipulation.

Power Mimicry:  Junho has the ability to take someone else's powers and claim it as his own until he finds a different one to pirate. It's his offense move, seeing as though he really can't do anything in his pure diamond form.

About: Lee Junho seeks the thrill in life. He has nothing to do in his life anymore, there's nothing that brings him pure enjoyment. Tired of being the in the school, Junho saught for new measures to take. He put his nameslip into the ballet in hopes to get picked so he could have a taste of the forbidden side of life.

Name: Hwang Chansung [The Nobody]

Age: 22

Abilities:

Hell-Fire Manipulation:  Chansung has the ability to manipulate the mystic flames of hell, which can completely destroy anything in it's path. 

Demonic Mimicry: Chansung can transform into a full-fledged demon. He will grow horns, claws, and sharp fangs. He becomes larger in size and gains enhanced strength. However, sometimes he doesn't have much control when in this form.

About: Hwang Chansung, who is he? Chansung heard that question way too much in his life. Chansung is a nobody, someone no one ever notices or remembers. He put his name into the raffle in hopes to put a name onto himself and to show his true colors, the person who he really is. He has nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Wang Fei Fei [Miss A]: Minjun's ex-girlfriend. Contestant of the games. She's more of a sisterly figure for Minjun, which is why they broke up in the first place. She's one of his greatest friends. She is 24 years old. [Enhanced Flexibility and Plant Manipulation]

Cho Kyuhyun [Super Junior]: Part of Junho's posse and contestant of the games.  He's one of Junho's closest friends but, at the same time, is Wooyoung's best friend. He's a bit two-faced and had many attempts in trying to end the rivalry between the two men. He's 21 years old. [Weather Manipulation and Electricity Infusion]

Im Yoona [Girl's Generation]: She, just like Kyuhyun, is part of Junho's posse. She was Junho's girlfriend, but it only lasted two months before Junho broke it off. She currently has her eyes on Taecyeon. She's 23.  [Summoning and Fear Inducement]

Lee Chaerin(CL)[2ne1]: She's quite close to Nichkhun and is quite a . She's, literally, the baddest female. However, unknown to most, she's quite the shipper. Chaerin is 24 years old. [Killing Intent and Pain Illusion]

Hey everyone!  I want to thank you all for at least being somewhat interested in this story and taking the time to read everything and maybe even press the subscribe button? This isn't my first fanfiction, though it is my first fanfiction on AFF so be patient with my while I try to get use to this site and all! I hope you enjoy reading further and I'm sorry if I disappoint!

The story might be a bit choppy and all since I don't know who's point of view should be the main focus of the story (any suggestions, haha. I was thinking maybe Junho or something but that's because he's my bias) but I promise it won't be ty or anything so sit tight! There might be a few factors in this story that won't be suitable for minors or the innocent-minded so if you're one of those people, press the back button while you can!

Anyways, I won't reveal who's partners with who until it actually comes up in the story just so I can keep you all guessing ;].
