20130110 07:45 - ASININE BASE

The office was silent save from the keyboard tapping and the clock ticking. The monochromatic scheme deemed the room even more solitary and boring. The dark eyebags under the chief officer's eyes showed that he hadn't left his office for at least a whole night. Fresh sunlight peeked through the blinds as the clock ticked closer to 7:45 AM.

The door abruptly banged open, breaking the stark atmosphere and a tall, slim female walked in with a tray of coffee in her left hand and a stack of envelopes in her right. Minho looked up and sighed in relief at the sight of her. In contrast to his wrinkled, uncomfortable business suit, she was comfortably dressed in yoga pants and a university crewneck, with a white baseball cap. She set down the coffee and papers on his desk.

"Looks like you pulled an all nighter, you look terrible." She remarked, but her tone was blunt.

Minho rolled his eyes, but grabbed a steaming cup of cappuccino with his name on it from the cardboard cup holder. "Well thanks for saving me. Are you the first one here or did someone come before you for a change?"

 She took off her cap and settled in a chair in front of his desk. Her dark eyes looked piercing, even during the hour of sunrise. "I came in here first. I got coffee on the way since Minyoung texted me that you hadn't come home last night. By the way, she's dropping by around lunch time to give you a change of clothes. Meanwhile, I advice you to take a shower in the locker rooms and stay dressed in training clothes until she comes because you aren't really giving me this chief-officer-of-a-top-secret-organization vibe right now with your appearance and the way you reek of strong coffee."

Minho went through the envelopes, nodding as the agent spoke. A plain envelope made him pause. The envelope was sealed with the symbol of the NIS, a gold compass symbol placed on a blue circle. The female agent stopped talking and peered over the envelope and her eyes widened.

He tore open the envelope and quickly skimmed the letter. She met his eyes with anticipation.

He quickly cleared his throat. "Well Agent 024, It looks like Unit Asinine will be assigned to new co-workers."

AUTHOR'S NOTESyeah i know it's really short but it's a teaser!!! so the chapters will probably be AT LEAST, twice as long as this. i might be posting up to around 3-5 teasers, depending on how much of the plot i can start finalizing.
