Hey hey hey Readers! ^^ I haven't posted anything for quite a while now, and this idea struck me back a few months ago when I met an exchange student in Gym & her host in French class~ My love for Dooyoon is undying and I will be coming out with an IUSEOB story sometime soon, when an idea hits lols. So that's enough about me, just enjoy this story and I love reading commentary, so if you have time, drop off a few comments below while reading this story please! :)

Also, for this story, there will be a mix of Korean dialogue and English dialogue, italicized dialogue is supposed to be Korean. For example, Doojoon will say "Hi! I love Gayoon!" (This is in English) while Gayoon will say "Hello! Doojoon is my one and only love!" (This is in Korean) Now do not get italicized korean dialogue confused with italicized thoughts that are in either language, okay? Those are two very different things, and that was a handful...so if you're confused shoot me a message of complaints. (jks)

All places in this story are fictional. Yes there is a South Korea, and California, but the places I wrote about are not real places in these areas.

     Gayoon stared at her suitcases, filled to the brim with clothes and her favorite korean snacks. She sighed, as she examined her room for one last time.

     "Gayoon-ah...it's time for you to leave to the airport!" Her mom peeped her head into Gayoon's room. "Aigoo....how are you going to close these?" she wondered, as she tried pushing the cover of one down. "Yah. Help, zip it!" Gayoon did as she was instructed. "Did you remember your night light?" her mother asked, as they closed the second suitcase. Gayoon nodded.

     "Umma...I'm going to miss you...and Appa.....and annoying Haeyoon..." Gayoon said, and she pouted. "Ah don't worry about us! It's only 4 months Gayoon-ah, you will love it! And you will LOVE Mrs. Yoon, I grew up with her! She is my best friend!" Her mother smiled reassuringly, patting Gayoon's back. "Now hurry, the cab is waiting for you!" Gayoon smiled, and picked up her luggage. "Aigoo....you're so strong for a skinny girl...you better find a husband there! Life over there is luxurious..." her mother joked. Gayoon chuckled. "Yes, Umma..." They walked outside and the cab driver grabbed Gayoon's luggage and packed it in the trunk.

     "Well...I guess this is goodbye. Umma, I will video call you at least once a week. And I will come back with many presents and gifts for you all. Send Uppa and Haeyoon my goodbyes!" Gayoon exclaimed, as she embraced her mother one last time. "I will, Gayoon-ah. Don't do anything you'll regret and have a lot of fun. You are very lucky you get this opportunity, don't waste it. Ah. and you're lucky you are missing final exams here." Gayoon laughed. Her mother knew exactly what to say at times like this. "Bye, Umma. I love you." Gayoon implied, as she pulled away. Her mother smiled at her, and Gayoon got into her cab, watching her mother wave until she disappeared.
