Description

She was used to be alone.
Alone had been her life for years.

But, she met a guy. A mysterious beautiful young man. Who never had his smile off from his face.

Who is this guy? Out in this middle of bloody war?

Foreword

I still remember that night. That peaceful night. Voices of whispering children excited for the next day to come. Unaware of the danger that they were in.

But who would want to destroy their giggles, their smiles, their cheerful sides. I heard kids at my sister’s age whispering about playing some dolls for the next day. The dolls here were not like we used to had before the war started.

The war.

It was the world war. I don’t know which world war this was. But it’s really different from the ones from the history books. Humans used to enemy among themselves. Now?

Their own enemy was their own creation. Foolish. That was the best to describe humans when I was a little girl who had her ponytails tied.

I sighed. Is there going to be a way out?

I glanced at my uniform. My gun. My boots. If the war didn’t occurred. Will I be wearing beautiful dresses now? Will I sleep peacefully? I won’t be shooting monsters?

Suddenly, a loud explosion was heard. All of the army troops became alerted immediately. So was I. We were ordered to secure the entrance to this hideout.

I closed my eyes and breathed heavily. We all knew this day would come. We pretended that happy ending still does exist. Those were just lies. Somehow poisonous lies. I used to fell in those lies too. Of course. I’m just a little girl who believed in fairytales back then. But when I overheard the conversation between my father and Colonel Kim. I stopped believing all those . My father was that er who forced me to join the Security. I was the only girl. Trust me, these ing guns weigh more than I expected.

As soon as we arrived at the gates. My jaw dropped. I was pretty shocked by the numbers of the predators. My father glanced at me. We all knew that we won't survive if we stayed here. My father also glanced to the people.

The only family we had.

We all ran forward. Towards the main gate. But something pulled me and pinned me to the ground. I was startled. I stared back the hideous monster on me. Those eyes that witnessed the deaths of innocent people.

People like me. Humans.

I snapped back and shot the monster and ran forward. Or that was what I thought. I actually ran to the back gate. Towards the east side. I glanced back. My family and the people was running through the west side through the main gate. It would be really impossible to turn back.

I kept running. That moment, I promised to survive. For the sake of my family.
