While your parents went out for a 2 months holiday, you were told to stay with Jonghyun’s family which is your neighbor. Your parents and Jonghyun’s parents are best friends. Even so, Jonghyun and you WERE best friends. Something happened in middle school that made you guys awkward. Three years since then, you guys are asked to live together. Jonghyun is busy with his girlfriend and you who have a crush on TOP. How is this going to develop?

It was 6am on Saturday.
The sky is still dark.. and it was rather cold, even though summer is coming.
I was supposed to be sleeping but here I am outside my house in pajamas sending my parents off to the airport.
My parents, the taxi driver, and the neighbor’s son JongHyun were busy putting in the luggage into the car.
I would love to lend a hand, but since I am a girl and it’s coldddd..

JongHyun put the last luggage into the baggage and the taxi driver slammed the baggage’s door down to close it.
“Hyosun, for the next 2 months, JongHyun’s parents will be your parents okay? Listen to them and don’t be a naughty kid.” My mom said as she gave me a hug.

“I don’t mind being her parents forever.” JongHyun’s mother interrupted.
She just came out of her house with her husband. My parents and his parents laughed at what JongHyun’s mother said. It has always been their favorite joke EVER. But JongHyun and me just stayed quiet and stared at them weirdly.

“Mom.. Do I really have to stay with them? I will be fine by myself. There’s no difference if I live with them or not.” I whispered to her. I was hoping she would whispered back to me and tell me the answer but instead she gave me a warning.

“Hyosun.” She smiled. “Remember, no drinking, no partying hard, no loitering, and NO BOYFRIEND until we are back.”

“Y-yes…” I recognized that smile, the ‘threat smile’.

“But I guess we are fine if it is JongHyun.” There my father goes again with the joke. JongHyun’s parents and my mother laughed in agreement.

“Alright then, be a good kid.” My father hugged me before he went into the taxi, followed by mother. The taxi then drove off. The four of us watched them until they are gone from our sight.

Mom.. Dad.. Are you guys in your right mind..?
You know how Jonghyun is like a stranger to me now.. This is not different from living with a stranger.. T^T
