It was the first day of his sophomore year. Eden was technically very late to meet his friends. Eden mentally cursed himself for sleeping in. While he was on his way out of his dorm, he texted his friends that; he’s sorry for being late and will be there as soon as possible, being courteous as he is. He hoped on his bicycle and cycled his way to school.  He cycled as fast as he could so that he would not keep his friends waiting.  

As Eden was cycling at a very dangerous speed when going downhill, he saw a girl cruising leisurely on her skateboard.

‘Holy mother of god! She’s gorgeous, look at those long locks flowed in waves, adorning her dewy porcelain-like skin. What the flimsy pancakes, were you thinking about Eden?! Dude, Snap out of it! Oh oh~ you’re going to crash into her’ Eden battled himself mentally.

“Yah! Get out of the way!” Eden yelled as he rang his bicycle’s bell repeatedly.

‘Sharks, she on her headphone! Oh no… Too late~~~!’ Eden clutched onto his brakes tightly which sent him off his bicycle and crashed into the girl he was admiring about.  

“Oomphf!” he yelped (not the correct description though).

Eden slowly open his eyes, boring into her chocolate brown eyes. He was practically, hovering over an unknown girl in the wee morning. Better yet, in public. He quickly broke the eye contact, stood up and brush off the imaginary dust off of him. He held out his hand, with the intention of helping her up. She hesitantly accepted it. When he did not loosen his grip, she tried to break her hand free. Eden was acting like a creep the moment he laid his eyes on her and, holding on to her hand like that didn’t help at all.
