DEUNGHAE POV

~dreamland~

My back hurts… my feet hurt…I think my shoulders are burning… my arms seems to be on fire… my chest is about to explode…

« Stand up, you stupid girl » he says to me

I can’t even breathe

« Stand up, I say! No wonder they left you! » he yells at me

I try to get up, I try really hard but I have no strength. I see his shadow behind me, I can see the baton... and he hits my back

« Aren’t you getting up? » he asks hitting my legs

I scream all my pain.

« Shut up! And react! » he says. He’s going to hit again, I can feel it. “No, he won’t hit me again… he won’t… I must not surrender” I think. I see him getting ready to hit, I hold my cane tighter and right before his baton touches my back I roll on myself and stop him with my cane… for one second I see his surprise, but the second after I feel a penetrating pain at my chest: he used more strength, my cane broke, and probably some of my bones too. I lost my lucidity. Before everything go back I hear him say: « Take care of her » and I fell someone lifting me…

I wake up in so much pain that I think I’m in hell. Every part of my body hurts. I scream

I suddenly wake up: I’m out of breathe. Instinctively I touch my chest “Baka, it was only a dream” I yells in my thoughts. Of course I’m not hurt, my ribs and sternum are not broken now. I sigh “It was so real” I think. I look at the clock. It’s 3am. “Ok, you’ve slept only three hours. Just try to take more rest in the next four hours” I say to myself. And then I fall asleep.

*drin drin* I turn the alarm off and wake HyeRim: « Wake up, baby. Today it’s our “debut” day » I smile. We get ready and quickly head to the main building

As we arrive, we go get everything we need than get in the van.

« I heard today you will be the make-up artists » Monica tells us

« Ye » I say « But we’ll need everyone’s help, if you don’t mind »

« Of course we’ll help you, girls! » all the staff says

We arrive on the location of the interview together with NU’EST.

« Hi everyone! » they greet happily

« Annyeong » we answer cheerfully

We head to the dressing room. While the guys get ready, HyeRim and I go to look to the stage. We start talking to the lighting staff, who explains us where the guys will stand and a lot of other useful thing. But he says that we’ll have to wait to see the lights on. So we go back to the dressing room. They’re ready

« So, what concept do you want? » HyeRim asks

« Today it’s your day. You choose » Aron answers

« Really? » we ask, a little surprised. They all nod.

So we asks to the other artist if they can fix the imperfections of their faces and then we head again to the stage. This time we have more luck: they’re testing the lights. Good! We stand there a few minutes, then we go back

« Ok, who will start with me? » I ask

« Me Noona! » Ren says smiling and sitting on the chair in front of me

« And for me? » HyeRim asks. Aron immediately sits smiling. HyeRim and I look at each other and then start with the lip gloss. Then it’s time for the eyes

I try to look in Ren’s eyes, but he keeps avoiding it

« Ren, can you look me in the eyes, please? » I ask

He give me a look, but quickly looks away.

« Aron please! » I hear HyeRim say, she’s having the same problem as me

« Please boys, help us! This is my first time… » I beg them

I see everyone smile, then Baekho starts to laigh loud

« Really? » he asks me « Is this really your first time? » he says in a teasing tone « Then you should be gentle Rennie »

« Ya! » I yell, blushing hard « I didn’t mean like that: it’s my first time applying you guys the make-up »

Everyone keeps laughing, as I didn’t speak

« Ok, I’ll try my best » Ren says, serious again

« Thank you » I answer him.

“Wow can I valorize this eyes?” I wonder. While applying the black pencil in the bottom I finally get the answer

After a while: « On air in one minutes » a staff member say.

The guys rush on stage, we put everything in order and then head to the stage too: we really want to see if it’s all as we expected.

When we get there, the other make-up artists smile us, saying we did good. Then we listen to the interview

« Guys, you really have something different today » MC says

« Really? » Aron asks

« What is it? » JR asks too

« I don’t know » MC admits

« But is it good or bad? » Baekho asks

« Oh it’s very good »

« Then it’s fine » Minhyun and Ren say. The others nod

« Then it’s time to read some messages from the fans » MC says

« This is Lucy form USA: Oppa, your new concept is amazing. Really like it…. And this is KPop4Ever from Japan: I like your new concept, especially the make-up! Saranghaeyo.... » MC reads « So it’s the make-up… guys, can you explain your new concept? »

They look to each other « Do we have a new concept? » Baekho asks, confused

« Didn’t you plan it? » MC asks

« No » Aron admits

« Ah I know » Ren suddenly says « The company hired two new make-up artists, and this is their first make-up so we told them to do as they wish »

« But we couldn’t see what they did because we started playing  and joking so we wasted a lot of time and we didn’t have time to look to the outcome » JR explains

« Then see it now » MC says, handing them a mirror.

For Ren I chose a dark and intense blue eyepencil and for Baekho a black one. HyeRim chose a dark grey eyepencil for Minhyun, a deep green one for JR and a golden one for Aron

« Wow » the guys yells all together « Thank you Noonas! »

Then they start talking about their last tour and the album they’re going to release soon, and a lot more

When the show ends, the guys come in the backstage and hug us yelling: « Thank you, it’s a nice work! »

« This is the least we could do » HyeRim says

« After all, this is our work » I say smiling and they smiles back, knowing that our task is not only this.

« Come on, it’s time to remove the make-up » Monica says

« No! We want to keep this » the boys say together

We all start laughing, and do as they wish. So we head out and I see HyunKi waiting for me. As he sees them he says: « Wow! Nice work girls, you’ve made them pretty » and laughs

« Thank you » HyeRim and I say together

« YA!!!! » Aron and JR yell, pretending to be angry at HyunKi. So we all laugh.

« DeungHae, can I treat you for lunch? » Oppa asks me

« Well, I forgot today’s schedule… » I say looking at HyeRim

She answers: « Free until 4pm »

« Then can I go with him? » I ask her, knowing that if I do I’ll leave her alone

« Go, the two of you need some privacy » she smiles

« You’re the best » I hug her

« Ne, see you later » she answers

« Bye everyone » I say, and leave with Oppa
