Chapter 19

 

Taeng was sleeping peacefully in his apartment. Well, how can you blame him if there were so much happened in just two days?  He feels hot; he keeps rolling in his bed to find a position for him to sleep peacefully. Half awake, he stood up from his bed and opened the window to let the cool air to enter inside his room.

 

‘Ah…. That’s better’

 

 

He glanced at his alarm clock to check the time.

 

11:00 pm

 

 

‘Yul still not home from his date eh’

 

 

Taeng offered his place for Yul to stay because his apartment was still a mess because he didn’t control his anger when he knew the Jessica has a connection with Taecyeon before. He shrugged and thought that maybe his best friend was enjoying his date.

 

He took off his shirt and went back to his bed to sleep again. He almost went back to his dream land when he heard a loud bang coming from his door

 

“What The F!!! What was that?” He exclaimed and went to his door

 

 

BANG!  BANG!  BANG!

 

 

“Who is it?! Stop banging the door! It’s almost late!” He yelled

 

 

BANG!  BANG!  BANG!

 

Taeng got irritated and immediately opened the door. He was stunned when he saw his friend Yul drunk and almost falls to the ground.  Yul pushed Taeng aside and went straight to the kitchen to get some beer.

 

“Yul what’s going on? What happened to you?” Taeng asked as he followed Yul to the kitchen

 

 

“Shut up Taeng” Yul sat on the table and drinks his beer

 

 

“Yul, how can I shut up when you looked wasted? You must be with Jessica right now and having a romantic date!” Taeng said

 

 

Suddenly Yul threw his can on the floor and flippped the table that’s makes Taeng frozen on his spot. He’s just watching Yul destroying his kitchen with a pitty. Yul also threw Taeng’s appliances on the floor.

 

‘Why in my place Yul?…’

 

 

“FU*K! FU*CK LIFE! Everything’s  a bullsh*t !” Yul screamed as he threw the microwave oven. When Yul was coming to the fridge, Taeng was back to his senses and immediately stop the poor guy from doing more damage.

 

 

“Ya! Not My Fridge! It’s expensive!” Taeng locked Yul’s arms to stop him

 

 

“DON’T STOP ME YOU MIDGET!” Yul was forcing himself to get off from Taeng’s grip

 

 

 

“I’M NOT A MIDGET! CALM DOWN YOU COAL! What the fu*k is going on?!”

 

 

 

Taeng pushed him to the ground. Yul started to calm down and sits on the floor.

 

 

“She lied to me” Yul uttered

 

 

“What are you talking about?” Taeng also sits on the floor facing his friend

 

 

“Jessica lied to me Taeng. She knows everything. They’re toying at me. They played me like a puppet”

 

 

Taeng was speechless not only when Yul told him what happened but when he also see him cried for the first time. Yul was crying his heart out on the floor and Taeng was just there looking at him sadly. He stood up and accompanied his best friend to the room to get a rest. When Yul finally stops crying, he took the phone and dialed his girlfriend Tiffany.

“JESSI!”

 

 

Tiffany rushed to see Jessica in the restaurant. She saw her friend crying her heart out on the ground. Tiffany was speechless when she saw the place, everything is a mess. The table was flipped and there are many broken plates and glasses on the floor.

 

 

She shook her head and can’t believe what’s happening.  She bit her lips as she walks towards her friend

 

 

“Jessi”

 

 

Tiffany sits beside her. She doesn’t care if her dress will be dirty. She held Jessica’s hand tightly and put her head on her shoulder listening to the sobs coming from the latter. Tiffany don’t want to ask anything, she know that Jessica will open her heart to her when she’s ready.

 

 

The two doesn’t talk while waiting to calm down a bit. Suddenly, Jessica initiated to start the conversation between them.

 

 

 

“He finally knew it Tiff.” Jessica whispered

 

 

“How come?”

 

 

 

“I don’t know. He showed me the last copy of our pic.” Jessica shook her head

 

 

“Do you think Yoona told him about it? But she said he can’t know his past.”

 

 

 

“I’m tired Tiff. I’m really tired of everything. “ Jessica hugged her knees

 

 

 

Tiffany sighed and hugged her knees too following her friend

 

 

“Do you want me to talk to Yoona?” Tiffany asked but the latter shook her head

 

 

“Jessi, how can we solve everything if you don’t want to do anything?! You already have enough. Look at you. You don’t look well. You’re the one letting yourself caged in. ” Tiffany got irritated as she raised her voice. She stood up putting her hands on her waist

 

 

 

“Let’s  just follow the way of life Tiff” Jessica stated as she walks to the table and pic a broken glass.       

 

 

 

“What are you doing, Jess? It might hurt you. Drop it” Tiffany watched her friend caressing the broken glass in her hands and she finds it weird. Suddenly something came up from her mind.
