Just like the rain, you quietly came into my life.

Drip drop, drip drop….do you hear that?

The droplets landing on the hard cement, while some landing on my soft silk skin. Mixtures of water and tears are on my face. 

Ahh….how I miss you.

Why did you leave?

Before, how I wished you would disappear from my life. Now that I have tasted your sweet warmth, I never wanted you to let go. Your strong built figure holding onto my delicate silhouette.

Now I feel coldness in replace of your warmth. A void is stuck in my heart.

Where did you go? Are you happy now? I’m not.

You were my protector. My shield from the rain. 

I lie lifeless on the ground allowing the rain to fall down on my face.

Here I am in the rain once again. Where it began and where it ended.

Drip drop, drip drop…
