CHAPTER 2

After writing what we expect of him, we passed the papers in front. 

After receiving the papers, he scanned them and read some of. 

Good thing he didn’t read my paper.

“I expect you to be a good teacher and hope to have a great time in your class.” 

Mr. Cordero said as he read what was written on the paper. “This is from Ms. Li.” 

He said. I turned to face the new girl. “So Ms. Li, the new kid? 

Welcome to the University, and we hope you’ll have a great time here.” 

Mr. Cordero said. “I was staring at her the whole time thinking of what I 

just did awhile ago. “Okay class, I will not hold a class today so you may take 

your early break.” Mr. Cordero said. Students pour out the classrooms. Bret

on the other hand, went out the room ahead, making up with one of the 

hottest chick in the campus, Fretzie. This left me alone with Ann

and Mr. Cordero. I went out the room and waited for Ann.

I have decided to apologize for being so rude and so I waited for 

her to come out the room. When she was already out the room,

I blocked her way and spoke. “Oh! Uhm, ‘bout awhile ago? Uhm, I’m 

sorry for being rude, I didn’t mean to….” Was all I could say when she

interrupted. “No. its fine.” She said. “Oh! I see.” I said. “I’ll go ahead.”

She said as she walked away. “Wondering where she’s going?” I said to myself. 

I have decided to follow her. She stopped in the school’s secret garden. 

“How could she probably know this place when in the first place she’s still new here?”

I asked myself. I hid behind the bushes about a meter away from her. 

I was looking at her and what she was doing closely. “Is she crying?” 

I whispered upon seeing the tears that were falling from her eyes. 

“Is she crying because of what I did awhile ago? But I 

thought she was already fine?” I said to myself. To my luck, 

my phone suddenly rang which made me jumped up from where I

was which made me visible to her sight. “What are you doing there?” 

she asked. “Oh nothing, I was just answering this phone call.” I lied as 

I walked out and answered the phone. “Hello? Mom?” I said. “Sweety,

I have to meet you later during your lunch break. It’s really important.”

My mom said. “Can you just tell it to me now?” I said. “No sweety! I have 

to tell you in person.” She said. “Okay okay. Bye mom.” I said. 

“Bye sweety!” she said as she hung the phone. 

I headed back to Mrs. Peralta’s room for our English subject. 

When I arrived in her room, I saw Bret seated in the seat

where he was seated an hour ago. I looked around and I

didn’t saw Ann in the room. I asked Bret where she was but he didn’t know as well.

“Why the hell are you looking for her?” Bret asked. 

“Oh! I just saw her crying awhile ago.

I was wondering if it was because of me.” I replied.

“Aren’t you used to girls crying because of you?” he asked.

“Stop saying that! You’re like saying I’m a bad guy because I make girls cry!”

I said as I gave him a soft punch in his shoulders. Mrs. Peralta continued on 

talking and Ann's still not there.
