“Er, so I was wondering if you… err if you –”

Staring at the other male intently Jinki started to feel nervous, Joon was starting to sound like him with all the stuttering the older man was doing and Jinki thought that whatever the other had to say couldn’t be good if he was losing his cool like that.

Smiling he felt his cheeks heat up as he urged the other to carry on. “Well. ! I had this all planned out and as soon as I see you I freeze great.” Joon looked frustrated as he rubbed at the back of his neck. There were a few moments of silence as Jinki let the other man compose himself while his own mind flooded with things that the other could possibly be struggling to say to him, none of them good.

The deep timbre of the older male’s voice the first to shatter that silence, as he looked straight into Jinki’s questioning eyes and clearing his throat, “Look. I err; I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go on a date with me?”

“Huh –” Jinki looked like someone had just slapped him in the face. A date, did that actually just come out of the mouth of Lee Joon?
