Description
It is the year 2017, and Lee "Sunny" SunKyu - ex-SNSD member and niece to SM's founder - has taken over the company as per her uncle's request. The years took a toll on SMEnt as their trainees left and went to other companies, causing SM to sink down below its former glory of BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), and EXO.
Over the years, Woollim, Starship, and Pledis became the "Big Three," and Sunny began looking for way to bring SM back to it's former glory. Her last attempt was made in the year 2018 with a seven member girl group named Sparkle. They were meant to bring back SNSD's fame by performing similar songs; after an incident with two of the members getting caught up in a rather messy scandal, the group went on a hiatus that turned into disbandment.
Now it is 2020, and Sunny needs a group that will get SM back to its glory days of old. She thinks of the perfect thing: twins. A group made up of only twins - fraternal twins at that. A co-ed group is just was she needs to restore her uncle's legacy. Going through a rather mysterious process to find fraternal twins, she gets an even better idea. She finds eleven sets of twins meeting the criteria she was looking for - representing the eleven zodiac signs that fall around a "Triple Date." She then finds another set of twins to represent the final zodiac not covered by the members and recruits them as the managers.
Thinking she had the perfect plan, she set in motion and scouted all of the twins she had found. Some of them were young, others were a bit older; some had never danced a day in their lives, while some were practically professional. This intrigued her and so she took them all on, personally.
And now, in the year 2025, Sunny believes her group of twenty-two is ready to debut and take the idol world by surprise. In creating this co-ed group, she created not one, but three groups: the full group, and two separate units of eleven - a boy group and a girl group. She was positive that it was now time for them to debut.
