Chanyeol and Seohyun were in the taxi riding silently as they tried to avoid the conversation. Every time Chanyeol tried to open his mouth she would sigh and look out the window. Finally after 10 minutes of silence Chanyeol spoke, “We have to be adults about this,”

“What are you talking about?”

“We have to share a room and the fact that that one big huge suite only has one huge bed…”

“I’ll sleep on the comfy couch, ok?” she smiled then frowned and looked out the window

“No. I can’t let you do that. I’ll sleep on the couch,”

“Look Kai told me you’re having back problems which maybe you should take a break from you construction job and have a doctor look at that…but anyways I can’t let you do that either,”

“Look Seohyun I will be a complete gentleman plus it’s a king size bed. I doubt we would ever touch each other,” he smiled at her

“You don’t understand,” she tucked her hair behind her ear, “I never stay in one spot when I sleep therefore I’ll be all over you,” he blushed but tried not to let her see

“Then I’ll push you off of me,” she chuckled and looked at him

“If Yuri is right I don’t think you can,” she whispered to herself

The gang arrived at Evangelia’s apartment in record timing. They all headed up to her apartment as Kyungsoo ran the bell. When she opened the door he engulfed her in the biggest hug her could give her. He proceeded to kiss her on the cheek as she laughed.

“I mean damn Kyungsoo. It’s not like she’s your girlfriend,” said Yuri as she hugged Evangelia in the front and Seohyun who pulled Kyungsoo away from her, hugged her in the back

“Aw it’s a bestie sandwich. I feel so special,” said Evangelia

“With a cherry on top,” said Christina as she squeezed in the middle

Everyone was laughing until they noticed Luhan emerge from the back holding Julian. Kyungsoo’s heart stopped as he saw the dashing young man hold the tiny infant in his arms. Why was he getting jealous? Technically Luhan was the father and Evangelia told Kyungsoo on many occasions that Luhan visited her. He just didn’t know he would be here today.

“Oh the baby,” Christina ran to Luhan, “Can I hold him?”

“Go wash your hands first,” said Evangelia as she took the baby from Luhan and gave him a smile

Christina ran to the bathroom as everyone took a seat; Kyungsoo’s being as far from Luhan as possible.

“So Luhan what brings you here?” Kyungsoo asked

“It’s nice to see you too Kyungsoo,” he somewhat laughed but gave a look to Evangelia

Kyungsoo snorted and was about to speak when Christina came rushing back in the room with glee.

“I’m ready,” she plopped down in between Luhan and Evangelia and held her arms out, “I know how to hold a baby,”

“Ok I trust you,” Evangelia place Julian in her arms

“Aw he is so cute,” she stared at Julian for what seemed like forever. Yuri was leaning over her daughter looking at the little boy

“He is really precious Vang,” she Yuri

“Thanks,” she smiled and then looked at Christina who was now looking at Julian strangely

“What’s wrong Christina?”

Christina looked at Evangelia and then at Luhan and then at Julian again, “I’m sorry but he doesn’t look like Luhan,”

“See I told you Evangelia,” said Luhan but she just smiled

“Sometimes babies grow into their looks when they get older,”

“You don’t understand. He doesn’t look half Chinese,” the little girl said

Everyone in the room went quiet. Kyungsoo and Kai had perplexed looks on their faces as Chanyeol and Seohyun tried not to look at Evangelia. Kris was glaring at his wife as she innocently shook her head to tell him she did not tell their daughter to say that.

“Christina don’t be rude,” Kris finally told his eldest daughter and gave her a look

“I’m sorry Evangelia but I’m half Chinese as you all know and I’ve seen half Black and half Chinese kids before but Julian doesn’t look like that. He kind of looks like Uncle Kyungsoo’s baby pictures,” she stared at her flustered Uncle

“Are you high Christina?” he asked her

“Why the hell would you ask my daughter that!” yelled Yuri

“Mom stop,” Christina yelled at her Mom in the brief chaos

“Why would she say something like that? Sorry baby but we all know Luhan is the father, which for the kid,”

“OMG really Kyungsoo!” shouted Evangelia

“If you have something to say to me Kyungsoo, say it,” said Luhan

“I’ve got nothing,” he put his hands in his pocket

“Well clearly you do so I’d like to hear it if you don’t mind,” he got in his face

“Hey man I’m a lover not a fighter,” he held his hands up

“Since when?” asked Kai but got a glare from Kyungsoo

“Guys!” yelled Seohyun, “Chill,”

“No Kyungsoo you’re gonna tell us all right now why the kid is going to have a tough time. Why I’m not man enough for you because it’s clear that you’re jealous of my relationship with Evangelia,”

“What relationship?”

“Oh no,” whispered Yuri

“You’re a donor. I mean what kind of relationship is that?”

“I’m more than her donor. I’m her boyfriend,”

The room got quiet as Kyungsoo slowly looked at Evangelia.

“Did he just say what I think he said? Is it true?”

“Yes it is. We are dating,”

“Wow you never told me,”

“Well I’ve been a little busy being a mom,”

“And dating the Ken doll,” he left the apartment

“Kyungsoo,” Evangelia tried to go after him but Luhan stopped her

“Let him go. It’s for the best,”

“No I have to talk to him,” she left anyways

She ran to catch up with him.

“Where are you going?”

“For a walk,”

“Can we talk please. I know you were going to do this,”

“What? I want to be alone to digest this news that my best friend is dating the donor,”

“I didn’t expect it to happen. I didn’t say to myself, wow now that I know Luhan and he’s gorgeous and wonderful and a great man, let me date him. It was more him than me really. My main focus was and is Julian. But you weren’t here for the last 6 months when I was here by myself,”

“I called you on the phone and no I couldn’t physically be there for you but…” he couldn’t put his sentences together. All he could think about was all the times her and Luhan have been together and it made him sick

“Kyungsoo say something. You’re scaring me. Why can’t you be happy for me? I finally get what I want,”

“All you wanted was a baby,”

“I wanted love too and I had accepted it if it wasn’t going to happen for me and it did happen,”

“Why couldn’t it have been me,” he had his head lowered as he said it

“And we’re back to this again. Kyungsoo you don’t want me. You say you want me when you feel like you’re going to lose me but you’re not going to lose me. I’m always going to be your best friend,”

“I don’t just want to be your best friend,” there was a knot in his throat. Why was he just now realizing he wanted Evangelia? Was she right though? That he only wanted her when he knew he was about to lose her? NO! He did love her. He had it all planned out. They were going to hang out with Julian and explore the city. He was going to tell her how much he had missed her. Heck he was going to even try and convince her to come back to New York. But once Luhan told him the truth all of those plans shattered into a million pieces and doubt set in. She would not believe him if he told her he loved her now. She just wouldn’t. He had to finally let her go. He hated change. He hated it so much.

“Well that’s all I can give you right now,” she looked into his sad eyes

He then started laughing, “Gotcha! Man you should have seen your face,”

“You were playing with me the whole time,” she hit his arm as she dragged him back to the apartment, “You owe Luhan an apology,”

“Oh not I don’t. I wasn’t playing with the Ken doll. I still don’t like him,”

“Oppa,” she pouted

“No, no, and no. That won’t work on me. Just make sure your lover boy stays away from me,” he walked back into the apartment to find his sister holding Julian and looking at him in a strange way

On the way back to the hotel Yuri was looking at the picture she took of Julian.

“You want a boy?” asked Kris as he kissed her forehead

“Haha honey you’re funny. No I don’t want any more children. I’m afraid we might get another Sloane clone. That girl and I can’t handle that,” she smiled

“You know he does kind of look like your brother,”

“Maybe Luhan has some Korean ancestors hidden in his family tree that he doesn’t know about,”

“Maybe,”
