Minho POV

I woke up not knowing who I am, or where I am. People surrounded me were asking me so many questions and with no sense of familiarity what do I know? How can I survive?

*2 weeks later*

Minho POV

From the two weeks of being in hospital, the only progress I made was remembering my own name Choi Minho.  Suddenly there was a knock on the door just as I finished my lunch.

“Mr Minho, the police are here to see you regarding your accident.” said my Doctor.

As much as I was hoping for answers but deep inside also scared of what they will say. I think my doctor saw my discomfort.

“It is understandable as you are recovering from memory loss to not be able to handle this, I can ask them to leave for now and come back later?”

I thought about it for a few minutes and looked outside the window, I knew I had to find out what happened and it would help with my memory loss.

“It’s okay… I think I am ready” I said, although there is still something in my voice that showed uncertainty.

“Don’t worry I won’t let them be too harsh on you. If there is any discomfort I will ask them to leave for now”

Then after a few minutes my doctor returned with a young policeman.

“Hello Mr Choi, My name is Lee Jong Hyun, but call me JongHyun”

“Hello Jonghyun”

“I know this is going to be hard to take and just let me know if you want me to stop.” Said JongHyun.

I nodded my head and braced myself for what he is about to say.

“On the night of your accident your fiancée and you were driving on the highway.” He looked at me to give me time to absorb this.

At that moment pain hit me hard and my heart hurt. Blurred visions came into play. But in a split moment I came back and just blankly looked at him waiting for him to carry on.

“It was dark and your car collided with a truck that drove on the wrong side of the road… “ he stopped and looked to my doctor.

At that moment I cannot breath. I was scared and hurt immediately I reacted and asked

“Where is she?” “My fiancée?”  awkwardly saying those words.

My doctor sighed and gave JongHyun a nod.

“She passed away as soon as the truck and your car collided as the truck. I am very sorry Mr Choi”

I didn’t know how to react, I felt sorry that I cannot remember her, my fiancée but also I felt sorry for our families. Yes families where are they?

“What about our family?” I asked

“Well your family is notified of the accident and they are flying in from the States and your fiancée’s family is flying in from Australia.” Said JongHyun

 “W-w-what was her name?” I asked and that moment I braced for the memories and the hurt.

“Suzy”
