“Yuri ah look it’s snowing” Donghae said as he spread his arms trying to catch the snow
“Its our 10th year seeing the first snow fall isn’t it” he said as he as he smiled at me like a kid
“Yeah, yeah why don’t you grow up Hae we’re 17 now and not little kids you know” I said totally irritated by his action
“Yah aren’t you glad that you snow the first snow fall with me again ha Yuri ah” he said cutely
“Sometimes I wish it wasn’t with you” I said honestly
“Donghae yah being with you is tiring” I said jokingly as I look at the sky
I didn’t notice is back then when you showed me your sad smile I wish I have seen it I wish I didn’t say those words with you
“Yuri ah Look I’m building a snow man” You said as I went out of our house your lips colored violet due to the cold weather
“Why the hell did you stay here that long” I said as I walked passed
“Cause I wanted to build a snow man with you for our 11th year” you said looking at your snow man
What would have had happened it I stayed and played with you back then
“Yuri ah happy birthday” you said the moment I opened my eyes, your cheeks red and eyes watery as you greeted me with a small cupcake with a single candle above
“Make a wish Yul” You said I was very sleepy so I pushed you away causing the cupcake to fell on the floor
“Ah sorry for waking you Yuri ah” You said as you cleaned the floor and exited my room
It was our 12th year of snow
If I had blown the candle that time will it save our future together
We finally graduated from high school and we started to go our separate ways thus not seeing each other that often, you went to study at seoul while I stayed here at busan, but you didn’t let our 13th snow pass
“Yuri ah” You said as you greeted me my heart raced as I saw your red cheeks and cheerful smile
“Look its snowing” you said but I just ignored you
“Yuri ah I miss you” I heard you muttered softly but I didn’t replied to that I didn’t say I miss you too
If I said I miss you too will you stay by my side
Years and years have passed and you started to grow to a very handsome man, you still goes to our house occasionally and now its our 14th year of snow
“Oh Yuri ah” when I came home I was expecting to see you but my mom greeted me instead
“Donghae just left he said he need to catch his train back to Seoul I didn’t know you were going to home earlier today so I told him to go back to Seoul” she said I felt dejected

Another year came and now its our 15th year of snow, I saw you walking through the streets I thought you come home because you didn’t come to me
You noticed me and waved at me
“Yuri ah” you said as you approached me
“I missed you” you hugged me but I pushed you away, I’m scared Donghae ah I think I’m missing you too much
When I looked at your face you look sad you look hurt
If I hugged you back will you be with me for our next snow fall
I felt that years passed so slowly our 16th and 17th snow fall came so fast that I didn’t noticed it on the 16th you didn’t come back but on the 17th you surprised me with a birthday party for my birthday
“Happy birthday Yuri ah” you said as you gave me that charming smile of yours
I acted as if I hated it but the truth is I loved it all that you’ve done to me Hae but I’m scared, scared to fall in love
“Yuri ah I’m going back to Seoul now happy birthday” you said as you gave me a present with a letter
It was a necklace with black pearl on it as for the letter I didn’t read it
If only I have smiled and thank you that time maybe just maybe we’re still together now
Our 19th snowfall was special we’ve graduated from college now and I heard you were accepted as an English teacher at the same university that you’ve graduated I want to say I’m proud of you but I couldn’t
“Yul happy birthday” once again you surprised me on my birthday you prepared a dinner date complete with candles and flowers on the middle of a snowy field
“Do you plan on killing me, its too cold” I said but you gave me a beanie and a red scarf then you held my hand and you made me wore a red gloves too its pretty
“Come on” you said as you drag me to the table after eating that night you look uneasy you look scared
But I didn’t asked you why, until you shoved me a small box and when I opened it, it was a ring
“What’s this” I asked you and you look at me shyly
“Yuri ah do you want to see more snow fall with me together,.. forever” you said I felt my heart skip a beat I wanted to say yes but I’m scared what if your like my dad what if you’ll leave me too so the coward me pushed the ring back to you
“I’m sorry” I said as I walked away
What kind of face did you show that night ha Donghae ah
If I said yes to you that time what would have happened to us now
Now marks our 20th snow fall, but you didn’t come back home, are you mad at me another year passed and its our 21st snowfall I finally saw you after a year of not seeing you, you were in front of the market looking at the sky you opened your arms to catch some snow
“You will never change Hae” I said and you turned back to look at me with your old smile it suddenly brings back memories
“Long time no-see Yul” you said and I nodded
“Hae” a girl with long black hair similar to me approached you and held your hand
“Yuri ah this is Yoona she’s my…” Donghae said but he was cut off by the beautiful girl
“I’m Donghae’s girlfriend” she said breaking my heart I cant believe it you have a girlfriend now
“Oh good for you” I said and went inside the market I cant help but to cry I’m so stupid for letting you go
I wish I said yes to you back then
I heard that you and your girlfriend will stay here in Busan I hope the two of you will go back to Seoul I really hope I wont see the two of you
“Yuri ah” I heard you called my name
we both sat at our favourite place; the park
“Yuri ah how have you been” you said
“I’m good” I replied without looking at you
“Two years ago I asked you to be with me two years ago you rejected me I thought I’m about to die I thought I wont be able to smile again until I saw Yoona she was the angel that brought me back to life I started to smile again I’m going to be honest up until now I still like you but Yoona she accepted me even though I’m broken” you said I didn’t say anything I just listened to you
“Yuri ah did you read the letter I gave you on your birthday on out 19th snowfall” I shook my head
“It contains all my love for you Yul, Yul I want to say I love you so much that I thought I’ll drown from this feelings but Yoona…” I stood up
“enough” I said as I wiped my tears
I went home and looked for the letter I opened the envelope and read it

Yah how come your so clueless I love you ok since the first time I met you, I know you doesn’t like me but please bear with me I just want to be with you longer to love you, please don’t hate me please trust me I’m not like your father Yul I will love you forever so give me a chance

If only I gave him his chance then maybe just maybe I am the one who you will wait in this altar, wearing a white gown waiting for me to give my hand
