Main characters

Geum Jan Di: A student in Seungri High School, she's not just a normal student, she always scores first on class, she's also a famous singer and the female leader of the band Dream Star. She is known as the "K-Pop Princess" for her amazing talent. She was born in Canada and spent her childhood there. She moved to Korea with her family after middle school due to her activities being a famous Korean singer. Her cold and tough personality always make the others aware with her, but what has made her the person she is was her painful past. Her mother is Park Se Young, she was a member of the famous band S.E.S. Her father, Geum Il Bong, is the head president of the Geum groups. Her younger brother, Geum Jinyoung is a teenager living American Style, he can barely speak Korean so he speaks in English most of the time.

Heo Young Saeng: The new transfer student in Seungri High School, he came from America and he was going to join the band Dream Star as the lead vocal instead of Kim Myungsoo, who left the band to study abroad. He's a shy guy but outgoing at the same time. He is known as the "Shy Prince". He's an old friend of Baek Seung Jo who happens to be Geum Jan Di's childhood friend as well. Geum Jan Di caught his attention since he first saw her, he didn't like her at the beginning, he thought she was just a show off like most of the girls at Seungri High.

Chu Ga Eul:  A student in Seungri High School, Geum Jan Di's childhood & best friend and a member of Dream Star, she's an optimistic and outgoing girl who draws a smile on everyone's face. She's known as the "Smiling Princess". She knows everything about her best friend and about her painful past, that's why she always understands her so well. Her parents are ordinary & simple people, they own a flower shop in Busan and they live there.

Baek Seung Jo: A studnet in Seungri High School, he's so smart and he's always on the top of the class as well, Geum Jan Di's best friend, she knew him since elementary school. He's just like her, cold & tough, and he can be rude sometimes. He's the male leader of Dream Star. He's known as the "King Of K-Pop". His father, Baek So Chang, is a known business man and his mother, Hwang Geum Hee, is a famous fashion designer. He also have a younger brother, Baek Eun Jo who copies everything his brother do.

Oh Ha Ni: A student in Seungri High School, Jan Di's best friend since she was young. A member of Dream Star who have a big crush on Baek Seung Jo for nearly 2 years now. She's know as the "Cutie Princess". She hates studying and she don't get good grades. She's cute & funny but she acts stupid sometimes. Her biggest loss was her mother's death when she was young, she only has her father, Oh Ki Dong, who works in a noodles shop.

Lee Shin: A student in Seungri High School, known as "L.Joe". The main rapper in Dream Star. A friend of Jan Di since middle school. A careless, funny guy and a playboy but from the inside he has got a good heart and a nice personality. His playboy image is back for him being alone, he lost both his parents and his older sister in a car accident when he was young, he has no one left for him. 

Kim Taeyeon: A student in Seungri High School, a friend of Jan Di since her childhood. They've been together with Ga Eul and Ha Ni through a lot of things, that's what explains their strong friendship. She's known as the "Dorky Princess" for her dorky and stupid image, but in fact, she was hurt a lot because of her ex boyfriend who has played her 2 years ago.

Yong Junhyung: A student in Seungri High School, known as the "Joker". He's a friend of Jan Di & the rapper of Dream Star. He always protects his friends because he suffered from losing his best friend in a street fight 3 years ago. A cold and careless guy, but his friends knows how much he's warm-hearted and kind.
