Jan Di’s POV

*Heo Young Saeng this is your end!* I screamed inside my head

I will never let him destroy my band! Who do he think he is? We are DREAM STAR! No one can be compared to us and no Heo Young Saeng, you’ll never bring us down! I will show you crack head!

*phone ringing*

“Yobosseo” I replied

“Hello Jan Di-ssi, it’s Lim, please be at the dressing room in 10 minutes, you have to get ready for the press conference” Designer Lim said

“Oh, I understand, I’m coming now” I replied

I hung up and put a wide smirk on my face “This is it” I said then walked out towards the dressing room.

When I entered the dressing room, I found that all the members are there, including that idiot Heo Young Saeng. They all looked at me and I just nodded at them. I’m sure that they don’t wanna talk to me now because I’m still really mad.

*This idiot. Every time I see him I feel like punching someone in the face* I said to myself looking disgustingly at Young Saeng

“Jan Di-ssi, your dress is over there, you can wear it now” Designer Lim said

“Okay” I said nodding then I went to the dressing room to change

Young Saeng’s POV

This weird girl. I wonder what’s going on in her mind. After what she’s done today, I can expect anything from her! God! I hope that this day will go smoothly without any trouble.

“How are you feeling Young Saeng? Are you ready?” Asked Seung Jo smiling

Seung Jo, the only one who always understands me without talking. I never regretted knowing him and I will never do!

“Yeah hyung, I’m ready, just a little bit nervous you know” I replied

Seung Jo laughed a little “Don’t worry, Jan Di don’t bite. She was just mad, she’ll calm down soon”

“W..What are you talking about hyung? What’s with Jan Di-ssi? I don’t even care” I said trying to sound natural but it didn’t work

“Come on saengie, I know that’s all what you’re thinking about, you’re scared from her aren’t you?” Seung Jo teased

“Hyung! I said I’m not!” I replied almost yelling

And in the middle of my little argument with my Seung Jo

“Woah! Unnie you look awesome!” Said Ga Eul

“Oh my god you’re a total goddess Jan Di-ssi” Said Lee Shin trying to act like a gentleman

I turned my head slowly to look at her, even though she pissed me off, I still can’t get her out of my mind! She enters my mind in some way that I can’t explain. Everything that was going in my mind since I first saw her at the school was her, Geum Jan Di.

I nearly gasped after what I saw, she was wearing a long sleeveless white dress combined with a shiny white high heels. Her hair was falling on her shoulders freely and she had quite make up on that made her look like an angel.

I turned my head to the other side again, my heart is beating so fast and my palms are becoming sweaty

What’s wrong with me? This can’t be! She’s the one that treated me badly since the first day she saw me! She even threated me! You stupid Young Saeng! Get her out of your mind!

“As for today’s meeting guys, I’ll be the first to talk. There’s something important I need to say” Said Jan Di all of the sudden

Oh no! She gotta be kidding! Now I’m getting really nervous. What’s she going to say? I wonder…

“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I thank you all for coming today to this event. It’s for sure an important event since we’ll be introducing to the press and the fans the newest member of our top group, Dream Star” Said YG sajangnim

I’m standing behind the scenes, waiting for the announcement so I can go out and introduce myself, the other members are all sitting outside including Jan Di, I can see her talking with Seung Jo and the others. Guess I’ll know what is it really soon.

After 15 minutes of talking about Dream Star and their awesome achievements, it’s now the time for Jan Di to talk

“And now, I will leave you with the female leader of Dream Star, Geum Jan Di, to introduce the new member to you”

Jan Di’s POV

That’s it. I’m gonna say it and I don’t care! I just hope that the members won’t get me wrong, I don’t want them to get hurt after all.

I walked towards the stage while everyone in the hall was clapping, I went up the few stairs and took the microphone form YG sajangnim, the silence filled the room for a moment before I finally spoke

“As everyone here know, our past member, Kim Myungsoo, has left our band. Of course, the first thing I wanna do today, is thanking him for all his hard work with us. We’ll never forget him and I wish he have a successful life”

Everyone clapped. I looked at the members one by one, trying to give them a hint of what I’m gonna say, Seung Jo, Ga Eul, Ha Ni, Lee Shin and finally Junhyung. But they didn’t seem to get it. Now, what should I do? Shall I not say it?

I cleared my throat “Now, ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you, to the newest member of Dream Star, Heo Young Saeng. Let’s work hard together” I said then handed the microphone back to YG sajangnim and quitted the stage hurriedly, almost running. I was mad. Mad at myself that I couldn’t say it. For a moment, I don’t know what happened. I felt something stabbing me right in the heart. I heard a voice in my head whispering for me not to do it, not to tell people that we won’t accept Young Saeng into our group. I didn’t want to lie on the behalf of my group just to satisfy my pride. This is not what I do! I can’t do it…

Young Saeng’s POV

Thanks God! The meeting went on very well, everyone seemed to accept me, except Jan Di of course. I don’t know what’s wrong with her. Why did she quitted the stage so hurriedly? Did she by any chance, accepted me too?!

I want to know, then, why don’t I ask her by myself?

I know this stupid idea of me will cause me trouble. She will just get mad won’t she? Ah, I don’t know! I’ll just ask her.

“Now, where is she? When I want her I can’t find her and when I’m not thinking about her she appear in my way? Unbelievable!” I muttered after nearly an hour of looking around for her. The hall was still full of reporters and I couldn’t find Jan Di, where could she possibly be?

I went outside to get some fresh air, the place inside seems to get more crowded and I was really tired.

“Woah, finally some fresh air!” I said

I stood in front humming a song when I saw her from the distance, that angel, I mean girl! She was just standing there staring at the ground, is she waiting for someone?

I walked slowly towards her, examining her and admiring her long black hair, when suddenly

“Stop over there!” She yelled

I stepped back then she turned around

“So it’s you? Oh my god this is seriously….” She muttered

“Oh, hello Leader Geum” I replied bowing awkwardly

“What do you want?” She asked in an irritated tone

I cleared my throat “That, I just wanted to thank you for earlier”

“What?” She asked almost yelling

“Why? Did I say anything wrong?” I asked confusedly

“You, listen up, if you think that I’ve accepted you, you’re really wrong! I just didn’t want to cause the other members any trouble!” She said glaring at me

“And just so you know, Heo Young Saeng, don’t you even think that I care for you! I will get rid of you really soon! Just wait!” She added

She was going to complete but she got interrupted by someone

“Young Master, are you okay?” Asked an old man

“Butler Kim, good that you’re here, let’s go home, I wanna see my mom” Replied Jan Di

She was going to walk away when she suddenly stopped and turned around

“You’re really lucky today, Heo Young Saeng!” She said smirking

She then left, left me standing outside there, not believing anything of what’s just happened. Is that the girl that I thought was an angel? The girl I fell for? Or is she just hiding her true self behind her pretty face?
