“Here, I brought you something to eat.” Bora placed the fried chicken-full plate on the table, motioning for Kris to take a seat. Kris fakes a smile as he saw his girlfriend, but little did he know, Bora already sensed that something’s bothering him.

“Something’s bothering you. I know. I can feel it, hun.” She brushed his fringe and cupped his chin. “Tell me. I’m here to listen.”

Kris sighed heavily and massaged his temple. He debated whether to tell Bora what had happened or just keep it but as he looked at Bora, he knew that he’s not supposed to lie especially to Bora. She is his girlfriend and no matter how he would try hiding it, he’s certain that Bora will know everything.

“Seohyun visited here awhile ago.” he said. Bora nodded but was confused at the tone of his voice. “Isn’t that what you really wanted?” she asked, “To see her and talk to her?”

Kris nodded slowly. “I do know you still want her Kris. I know you really wanted to make it up to her. But if you’re thinking about me, then you won’t be able to make it up to her.” Bora said as she rubbed her hands against his. At times like this, Kris just wanted a big hole to appear and just him alive. Bora’s always the nicest person in the relationship. She understands everything that, sometimes, Kris gets guilty.

“You know how much I love you, Bora.” he whispered but for him, he’s sure that Bora doubted it. He was so confused and stupid. Confused because he’s sure that he loves Bora yet his feeling for Seohyun bugs him every time. Stupid because the situation he’s in right now isn’t anyone else’s fault but his.

“But you look confused, Kris. You love me and I know deep down there, Seohyun still has a soft spot.” she pointed his chest and smiled. Kris didn’t miss out the hint of disappointment and sadness in her voice and this time he was sure that Bora was the one he had hurt the most. He didn’t think of the consequences when he decided to court her
