After the news of SHINee's Taemin dating a member of TripleF surfaced the web, the groups' label, SM Entertainment, finally broke the silence which gave a very big shock to the netizens. It looks like the two who have been mistaken as a couple were actually siblings, see below for SM's official statement about the rumors.

"Lately, news of Taemin and a TripleF member has surfaced the internet. It is true that the girl seen with Taemin is a member of our new girlgroup but it is not true that they are seeing each other. Actually, the two are siblings who happen to have had a boat ride to bond with each other to catch up with one another before TripleF's debut. We hope that you will continue to support TripleF's upcoming debut. Thank you." -SM Representative

Just a few hours after that, Taemin posted on his official Twitter account a selca of his litte sister, finally introducing her to the public as a member of TripleF causing a big laugh on the caption he wrote for her photo.

 "I never knew that my sister and I were dating! keke... <3 She's so pretty right? Of course, she IS my baby sister! haha! Anyways, meet my beloved little sister, Lee Jeehae or you can just call her Jeena, she is my baby sister so boys, HANDS OFF! And yes, she is going to debut as a member of TripleF so watch out for her and the other members! They are DAEBAK! !!! ^^" - Lee Taemin
