Sooyoung’s unconscious body now lies on a gurney and being transported really fast to the emergency room.

Media personnel are everywhere. The news of the shocking event spread like an uncontrollable wild fire.

One of the best of Korea’s model-actresses has been taken down by gunfire.

The other models were on their way to the hospital. The only people beside Sooyoung are their manager and few event organizers that helped to carry her.

“Check her vital signs!” one doctor commanded. One nurse ripped her dress soaked with blood. She’s lying, her face on the bed. Her exposed back looked miserable, dripping with enormous amount of blood. The hole that was caused by the bullet can barely be seen.

“She’s barely breathing doctor.”

Oxygen was already connected and the nurse covered the rest of her body. The slow beeps of the heart rate monitor are the only sound heard and the movement of the hospital crew is concise and careful.

 One thing’s for sure, every second counts for this girl and her life is on their hands.

The head doctor went out after checking Sooyoung’s general condition and what they need to do. Sooyoung’s manager and the newly arrived co-models met him with worried looks on their face.

“Doctor…How is she?”

The doctor swallowed and shook her head.

“She lost a lot of blood. She needs transfusion right away.”

Most of their hands are on their mouths and some are holding their heads in disbelief and shock.

“We need to start the surgery to remove the bullet. But the bullet somehow was shattered inside her body. It’s going to be hard and critical for her. We need an approval from her family or a relative..”

“Her parents are already on their way. Can I sign the waiver so that you can go on? I’m her manager!”

The doctor shook his head but commanded the nurse to hand the sheet.

“We will do our best but be at least prepared. Her condition is not that good..

..it’s considered a miracle that she reached the hospital in time…”

All of them gasped for air by hearing the doctor’s statement. They all knew how it is for Sooyoung, but they can’t recognize the future that lies for her. They don’t want to think of the worst thing that could happen.

“Do your best, doctor.. Save her..jaebal!” The manager said, pleading.

The doctor returned to the surgery room, leaving her friends and their manager speechless. Jessica is just sitting on the waiting bench and staring blankly on the white hospital floor. Taeyeon joined her and wrapped her arm around her. The others are standing; some are leaning on the wall.

All of them are crying.

They never anticipated this kind of thing to happen. They were just so happy before this.

“Sooyoung unnie won’t die..she’s strong.”

It was their group’s maknae. It was the least thing they expected to hear from their silent maknae. Tiffany hugged her and sobs on her shoulders.

“We should be at least strong for her. She’ll win this.”
