"Do the competition with me." I looked at her. "What?"

"You heard me. Do the competition with me."

"God No! What's wrong with you?" I shook my head. She's nuts.

     She sat beside the mirror, her back facing me. "The competiiton is held yearly at the bayside of New Austen. I've been missing it every year because Daryl is officially tone deaf ." She patted my shoulders and sighed. "And in order to join the competition..." I nodded. "You need a partner." "Exactly!" I looked at her.She folded her arms and sat straight. "What? Aren't you the one who told me that 'maybe' I should start asking favors from the people that I help?" "Fine. Your letter? I'll do it. I'll give it to Raven and give you back her reply." Placing my hands at the tip of my chin, I quickly pondered whether to take the deal or not. I sighed once more. I can't believe I'm doing this. "You promise me you'll give her my letter?" "Yup. Face-to-face." She offered her hand. "So it's a deal?" I nodded. "Deal."

    Before I went out of the studio she called my name again, grabbing my attention. "Hey! Just one problem! Do you know how to sing?" I looked away, grinned behind her back and went out of the studio.
