“Kris” Kris’s mom calls him as he went out of his room. “I need to tell something”

 

“Why so early?”

 

“This is very urgent dear.” His mother sighed. “Mr. Lee wants you and his daughter to live together. As soon as possible.”

 

“Mwo~?”

 

“Her father already bought a house for the two of you.”

 

“Ok. There’s nothing I can do.”

 

“You need to be there now. Go and pack you things.”

Kris POV

 

I should get out of this.

I will make her quit.

 

*knock knock*

 

I open the door. Her.

 

“Oppa” She smiled.

 

I sit on the couch without giving a word.

 

“Oppa” She sat in front of me and waves her hands in front of my eyes.

 

“MWO?”

 

“Are you angry? Did I make something wrong?”

 

I look in her eyes, coldly, I shook my shoulders. “Molla.”

 

“Stop being like that. It makes me wanna cry” she bit her lips slightly forcing her tears not to fall.

The next morning…

 

“Oppa, I cooked breakfast.” She smiled as she offer the breakfast she did.

 

“Aniyo. I’ll eat at the office”

 

“Just a sip of coffee and a bite of what I made please.”

 

“I’ll be late. I’ll go now.”

I continued on being too cold to her. Sometimes it makes her sad and disappointed. But more often, she still smile and cheerful.

 

After the 1^st month that we’re together in one roof, I bet she’s already used to my coldness.

I became used to it too.

She always cooks for us, for me. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

She always brings snacks, even midnight snacks, if she knew that I’m still working.

 

But I don’t eat any of them.

I had my own stocks of food in my room. I don’t know if she knew it coz we have different rooms.

One morning I went to the kitchen to drink water before going to the office. Unusual scene. No foods prepared.

 

I went in her room. At her door, a stick note was on the knob.

 

“Oppa, sorry for no making breakfast. DON’T ENTER! You might get flu. I feel a bit feverish.

I leave even though I’m worried.

“A phone call for you Sir” My secretary said and gave the phone.

 

“Yes, this id Mr. Wu how can I help you?”

 

“This is the Seoul Medical Center, Ms. Lee was hospitalized due to her very high fever sir.”

 

“wh~ How?”

 

“She called us to fetch her to your house. She said she can’t take it anymore. She collapsed after she tells us to call you.”

 

“I’m on my way. Thank you”

What is she thinking?

 

I arrived at the hospital and went to her room. She’s already awake.

 

“What are you thinking?!” I shouted.

 

“Oppa, why so fast?”

 

“Your father will kill me if he know that you’re hospitalized!”

 

“Don’t worry oppa, even if I die he’ll not kill you. He’ll thank you instead.” She said and forced a smile. She lay down and cover her body a blanket. “You can go back to work now oppa, sorry for disturbing you.”

 

“I’ll go now.” I said and grab the door knob to leave.

 

“I just want you to show that you care………..” She whispered, but can still be heard.
