                In this big party.. There was one kid who was always be the center of attention..

"His piano playing was awesome.. Though only 11 years old, but he is already mastered every notes.." praise an uncle who stood beside me

"Do not you know this child get a scholar.. The next 10 years his name surely already exists in Europe" adds glamour woman beside him

                I looked straight at same-age boy who was sitting on the piano bench. It's true what they say, boy who play the piano, so great.. I did not understand anything about the technique of playing the piano, but saw the boy playing the piano, I saw that piano is living and laughing with him.

"Yeah! Congratulations on the promotion, Kwon Yuri, the new police detective!" they all exclaimed as I entered the office

"Oh .. Ajushi .." I said embarrassed

"Right Ji ajushi.. This is from grandma.. Ji ajushi forget your lunch again" I said while give his lunch

"Yuri-a, you are.. Aigoo.. Did she talk about something else?" asked he shyly

I laughed embarrassed "He talked about Gwangsoo again.."

"Aish.. That old mother is!" said Ji ajushi shame "I’m sorry Yuri, you're so involved in my family matters. I will tell the truth to the mother. But, I think, you should quickly find a boyfriend, or mother will continue disrub you" said Ji ajushi back to work

                I was sitting in my new chair that looks comfortable. Not a long after, Lee ajushi told me to gather into the meeting room. There are important issues that we want to talk about.

"This is your first meeting, right? Take it easy" said Ha ajushi cheer me up

                I nodded. Draw a long breath, and immediately entered the room with them. Because our work is basically different, and I was separated from the Ha ajushi ajushi, Ji ajushi and Kang ajushi. The meeting start. A short fat man stand in the center of meeting room.

"It was Kim Donghee. He's our leader for this division. Remember that" whispered Lee ajushi

                I nodded.

"Everyone, please attention" began the young man in front

"The meeting is intended to review the case of a large-scale gemstone theft that occurred recently. Here is an amateur video of cctv diamond store along with the photos that we managed to get..." he explained at length

                I'm a little yawn.

"Ajushi.. Do I have to pay attention to the LCD screen on?" I whispered

"Shh.. Do not let anyone see you yawn. Yes.. This is the case statement. You should know at least the data is suspect of explanation" explained Lee Ajushi

                I nodded again.

"The prime suspect from witnesses explanation is this man. He looks at the two crime scenes with fishy gestures. In the first case, the shop owner managed to get him to bring some diamonds in his bag. At first he did not want to confess and did not give a reason. Since none of the evidence which he was appointed as a suspect, we were freed of all charges.." said the young man again

Shortly thereafter, a man completely covered coming and hold up the store owner. The exact same diamond with diamond suspects seen..." added the young man again

                Honestly, I did not hear what they were discussing..

"EhEhm.. Ms. Kwon and Mr. Lee!" exclaimed leader Kim was suddenly

                I jump when my name is called. I glanced next to me, where Lee ajushi is sitting. Apparently he also looked surprised.

"I repeat once again. Ms. Kwon and Mr. Lee. Both of you will keep the suspects until the case is declared finished. So tightly this time. Please return to each job" cap leader was visibly angry

                Lee ajushi and I went straight toward the young man explained earlier.

"You really, has called several times but no answer. This data about this case. You read it first" said the young man so he could leave us.

"I'm going home” I said to Ha ajushi, Ji ajushi and Kang ajushi

"Ah, you're going home?" asked Lee ajushi, he just got here after an assignment elsewhere

"Yes" I answer

"Well, all right. There is someone looking out for you. Looks like he picked her up. Do I know? Wait.. Looks like I did often see him.." explained him again

"Someone? You've got a boyfriend, Yuri?" asked Ha ajushi shocked

"Huh? I do not know. Maybe ajushi got the wrong person" I replied

"Hm.. I'm sure I heard he was looking for your name. You'd better get out and see" clear Lee ajushi

                I nodded and said goodbye once again.

                Who's coming to pick me up?

                The answer is coming when I went to the front door. Indeed there is someone who is waiting there. The man was sitting on a motorcycle is very familiar.

"Nichkhun! You've come home" I shout in shocked

                Nichkhun was my little friend and recently, he was living in Thailand with his family. 8 years we have not met.

                Of course Lee ajushi feel ever seen him.

"How did you know I was here?" I asked, surprised to see his face has changed drastically

"I was stopped by the house, then ajuma told me to pick you up. Hop now, I'm hungry" he said

                His words have always pitched that way. Indifferent and uncaring. But besides that, he's a good man. He always obeyed the words of my umma. In stark contrast to me who always fight with her.

"Why are we stopping here?" I asked, seeing the restaurant that looks expensive

"I told you if I was hungry" he said

"My goodness, but we could eat in a smaller place. Not as pricey like this" I said

"It's the closest. If you do not want to eat, accompany me" added Nichkhun opened the door of the restaurant

                I was standing outside when he finally pulled me into.

"Hm.. Please 2 Sirloin steak and one cup of Capuccino.. Yuri, what do you want?"  asked Nichkhun

"Mineral water please..?" I whispered

                Nichkhun was distanced from his book menu, then looked at me annoyed.

"Make it 2 cup of Capuccino" he said staring at the server with a smile

                The server then took menu book out of Nichkhun hand. Her cheeks a bit red, the waiter seemed like Nichkhun. Nichkhun is indeed cool. His face was a combination of his China-Thai parent’s face. He himself was born in California, and grew up in Korea. The point is, a lot of women who once saw him instantly loved him.

"Hey, Nichkhun, Do you order one of those steaks for me?" I asked curiously

"Of course. Unless you do not want to, then I will eat it. If I told you ordered, you definitely just want white rice" he explained

                Seems a little insulting.

"Leave it alone. How dare you! My salary has not been taken, I'm not holding the money..." I cried

"Just shut up and eat. My treat, okay?" he said and then looked out the window

                That means the mood is not good.

"Nichkhun. You came back to Korea since when?" I asked eliminate this silence

"Just this afternoon. I went straight to the house, but you were not there. Yes I have "

"Come into my house? Why not your family first? Oh yeah.. Where do you live? Tell me, maybe I could stop by sometime" I suggested

"My mom and my sis is still in Thailand. My dad and my bro moved to California. Well .. I live in ..."

"This is the order" was cut by the server

                Nichkhun suspend the sentence. He looks started bad. It seems he was upset because his talk was interrupted. He did not continue his words anymore.

                After completion of the dining atmosphere was tense, Nichkhun made me wear his helmet back and he drove me up to the house. Right up to the front of my house.

"Gomawo .." I said

"Why?" he asked, putting a jacket and a helmet on his motorcycle

"Because it took me and buy me a meal?” I asked, confused

"Oh .. Equally .. " he said and just stand there

"Erm .. You do not go home?” I asked, confused, bewildered look he just stood in front of me

"Do not joke! I'm a stay at your home starting today. Why are you silent? When are you going to open the door of your house? The night is killing me" he said

"Ermph ..." I moan upon awakening

                It's sunny morning. I opened my bedroom curtains in the morning and started a little warming. Today is definitely going as exciting as the previous days..

"Fightiing!!" I yelled out the window "Ajuma morning!" I say on that soon looked toward my room

                As I ran, I came downstairs. Until I stepped on something..

"UAA!" I said shocked

                Something? No. .. Someone sleeping in my living room. Who? thief?

                I purposely did not turn on the lights, maybe he has a gun.

"Hiiat!" I said ready to strike anyone who has just lied on my floor

"Stop it!" cried another voice

                Light is on, the sound was coming from my mom. She glared at me, and I turned to see who had just wanted I hit. Nichkhun is still holding his head in fear.

                Oh my god! I forgot Nickhun live here starting yesterday!!

"How could .." Nichkhun said repeatedly as we ate breakfast

                I could just smiled apologetically.

"Then you must accompany me to the streets today. That's your punishment!" Nichkhun exclaimed, pulling out killer smile

                His smile is really sweet actually, but..

                It is killling sometimes.

"Huh? Can not, I have to go to the office.. Today I had to meet with the heist suspect." I explained

"The Office? Suspect? Huff, so Yuri is busy now.." said Nichkhun pouted

"Hehe, I'm actually always busy" I said proudly

                Nichkhun still exhibiting his pout.

After a long time I can not stand too "Right. Just go after I got home, okay?" I said finally

"Horay!" he said happily

                I was leaving the office after a brief conversation. I went straight to Lee ajushi’s desk, to discuss the case yesterday.

"This is the suspect .." said Lee Ajushi

"Hm.. His data?" I asked

"Ah yes... Read first .."

                I nod when my eyes busy look that data.

                His name is Kim Jongwoon. He is older than me. His name is listed as one of the renowned pianist until –I do not know- and quit because of illness. No criminal data related to his life, but he had almost lost control after drinking a lot although no casualties except that he makes neighbors uneasy that he finally came out of the social life and never talk to anyone.

"Wow, he lived in Europe? In what order?” I said after flipping through the glorious achievements of paper

"From our interrogation yesterday, he did not want to answer. But his aunt boardinghouse neighbor said he go to europe to compete in the piano world. It's just that there is a small inisiden after that.." said Lee ajushi

"Incident? What incident?"

"His parents plane crash when approached to Europe, so the first race canceled. He lived with his aunt and uncle for a while. When he was a teenager, probably around the age of 15, he went again to Europe. But doctors could not let him play again. He's too much practicing until his fingers had swollen.." said Lee Ajushi

"You know a pianist disease? With the verdict, he was not allowed anymore to be a pianist. Reportedly, he became reclusive and quiet.." added Lee ajushi again

"Ooh. That's sad. Well, if so, you should not ever talk about it inisiden” I warn him "Oh yes, Lee Ajushi, can I meet him?" I asked again

                Lee ajushi nodded and took me to the room below. I followed him and was shocked to see the condition of this room. This interrogation room is more sophisticated than meeting room upstairs, it's hard to describe. Until finally I came to the empty room. There, sat a man my age. Peeling apples and turned to me.

                At first I was thinking, maybe he was a quiet man.

"Kim Jongwoon 9165, are welcome to come out!" exclaimed one of the guards
