The Capitol is a harsh city that lies on the post-apocalyptic country, Panem. Previously having thirteen districts, with the last district burnt into ashes, the First Hunger Games was held in order to remember that the Capitol is more powerful than the twelve districts who rebelled against them during the Dark Days.

The story is set during the 74th Hunger Games. Different stories from different lives shall be retold from every district.

The luxury district of Panem is one of the wealthiest district in the country. Known as the Career District, children from ages 12 to 18 are illegally trained in order to compete for the Games.

Known as the Capitol's supporters, District 2 has been pampered and has been given with many extra conviniences. District 2 is also a Career district and the Masonry district.

Residents in District 3 make various mechanical products such as automobiles and firearms. District 3 is sandwiched between the Career Districts.

District 4 is the fishing district of Panem, and one of the Career Districts. Residents have experienced using nets and tridents, making fishhooks from scratch, swimming and identifying edible sea life.
