Eun Joo doesn’t want to attend the rest of the class anymore. She feels extremely tired. In fact, she doesn’t want to walk. *Ahh, I’m tired. I don’t want to walk. Why do my legs feel so heavy? I wish someone could just carry me home.*

With one swift movement, she’s at Baekhyun’s strong arms already. She gaped at him and started punching his chest. He didn’t even flinch, it’s like he’s not hurt at all. “Put me down! What the heck are you doing?”

He looked down at her and Eun Joo instantly looked away from his gaze. “You said you wanted someone to carry you home.”

“How did you even know that?”

Baekhyun started walking. Some of the people were looking at them strangely. It’s really odd to see students like that. “I read your mind.” He simply answered. Since then, he can read her mind and he’s only doing it to her.

“Baekhyun, put me down.” her voice sounded so stern and serious.

He didn’t want to put her down but Eun Joo already made him do that. So, he let her reach the ground with her toes and she stood up. She just continued on walking while Baekhyun is following her behind.

*Why can’t I just die today? Why do I still have to wait for that right time?* her mind is so pre-occupied by another set of questions she can’t even answer. Baekhyun is still following her and she’s not dumb to realize that.

The red light went on signalling no people should cross the road, but Eun Joo is too busy thinking to notice it. She just continued on walking until she reached the center of the road and heard a loud honk from a fast car that woke her. The headlights flashed her face but she just stared at it. *That’s it.*

Instead of the car hitting her, a left arm hugged her slim waist and right arm on her head. Baekhyun pulled her into his arms and faced his back to the car that is going to hit her. The car hit the breaks on time and just bumped into his legs.

Eun Joo’s eyes were wide. She could feel his hug in her body, the hug that she recognized. She exhaled and Baekhyun pulled her back. “I told you, you can’t die yet.” She saw the driver stepped out of the car and checked on them.
