In the end, I ended up hugging my angel in my arms while watching the night sky at the rooftop. My cheek touches hers but she moved away. She’s still mad at me because of my decision. “Don’t do this to me, Eun Joo. Please, I want to spend every second with you.” My chest hurt when I tightened my hug around her. I’m going to miss every single thing about you.

I closed my eyes and heard her sobbing again. “I don’t want to forget you, Baekhyun.”

My lips trembled hearing those words from her lips. I bit my bottom lip hard so she couldn’t hear my crying. I swallowed hard before finding the right words to say.

We spend the night inside her room, just hugging. No one is talking and no one is sleeping. I looked down and saw her looking blankly ahead while her hands were on the chest. “Go to sleep, Eun Joo. Take a rest.”

She tilted her head and looked at me. It’s so painful seeing her like this. “I don’t want to close my eyes.” She encircled her arms around my waist and dug her face to my chest. “I’m afraid, when I wake up you’re not here anymore.”

I placed a soft and lovingly kiss on her forehead. “I’m always here. I will be here forever.” I assured.

“Don’t say goodbye to me. Remember, there’s no goodbye for us. It’s always hi and hello.”

I slightly smiled. “And… see you soon.” I added.

Eun Joo’s POV

“What are you doing?” It was the first words uttered early in the morning right when I opened my eyes. Kai and Sehun were both fixing their hairstyles in front of the mirror. Chanyeol and Suho were dusting their clothes as if they are going to meet someone and go on a date. Well, that isn’t possible. I’m going to die soon and leave this earth. It clearly means they’re included.

Kyungsoo approached me and handed me a paperbag. He’s dressed so nicely too.

Wow, I guess during the times when they were still alive, any clothes will fit them perfectly. “Thank you.” He showed me that heart-shaped smile he has and yes, it really does look like a heart.

I opened the paperbag and saw clothes that probably they want me to wear.

Are they preparing for my death? Suho glanced my way and shook his head. “Baekhyun suggested that we should go to an amusement park today.”

Great, I don’t like those too mainstream amusement parks and to have fun. I don’t like standing in too long lines just to ride for a minute. You will stand for more than an hour and ride for just a couple of seconds. It’s not worth it. “Just go have fun without me guys. I don’t like to go with you.”

I tossed the paperbag at my bed and they exchanged glances at one another. Baekhyun appeared from the comfort room and he looked extremely gorgeous with his hair up like that, and a little messy I actually wanted to run my fingers through the locks of his soft hair. He’s wearing a black long-sleeved polo shirt and denim pants. Usually, guys who wear an all-black clothes looked so awkward but he pulled it off and he’s … hot.

Obviously, Baekhyun smiled in delight hearing all the compliments in my thoughts.

“I knew it! I should’ve wore something black too! Blue isn’t my thing!” Chanyeol threw a fit.

“You looked absolutely handsome too Chanyeol.” I’m not lying and that made him smile. “Still, I will not go with you.” I went inside my room and shut it close. All I want is to rest and I heard Baekhyun told his friends that he’ll handle it.

When I walked inside my room, there’s a can of black paint at the floor. I crouched down and about to pick it up when Baekhyun held my wrist and stopped. Damn, he smelled so good too. What perfume did he spray onto his body? It doesn’t hurt my nose and in fact I can cuddle with him all night with that alluring scent. I turned my head to him with an irritated gaze and just met his cat-like smile and soft eyes. “Come with us, Eun Joo. This is for you.” He urged. I cocked my head to the left when I saw a black paint near his right eye. I rubbed it off using my thumb and he just let me touched him.

As I rub his cheek, he held my hand and right there and I stopped. He’s looking into my eyes softly. “I just got off the shower. Your hand is very warm. I like it so much.” He tilted his head to the right cutely like a puppy.

Is this your way of persuading me to go? I removed my hand. “I don’t like amusement parks that much.” I stood up and sat down at the edge of my bed, preparing myself for a whole day of sleep. “Why there’s a paint in here?”

Baekhyun picked the black paint can and placed it somewhere so I can’t spill it. “Don’t change the topic and come with us, Eun Joo.”

I heaved a deep sigh and lay down my bed, closing my eyes. You can’t ever persuade me Baekhyun. I won’t get up from this bed.

Just as then, I felt weight on the bed and when I opened my eyes, it’s Baekhyun looking down at me, planting his hands on both side of my face. I swallowed hard, his eyes are so mesmerizing it’s bringing me into another world. “Do you know that they will feel bad? They spend so much time at the store choosing the clothes, they are really anticipating for this. When we’re normally living, we didn’t get a chance to go to an amusement park.”

This Baekhyun, how could you do this? Are you a conscience? “Alright, fine! Move, I’m going to change.” I pushed him away but he pushed me back the soft bed and leaned down, dropping a soft kiss on the tip of my nose making my stomach turn.

“Thank you,” he whispered and his minty fresh breath tickled my lips. I unconsciously stared at his and swallowed hard. His lips are pink and it’s driving me crazy. I heard him chuckling as if he’s taunting me, then with a blink of an eye, he stamped his soft lips on mine. “If you want it, just say it.”

This time, I pushed him hard out of the room and slammed the door close for me to change.

Stupid, is he teasing me?! I removed my clothes and checked what they bought for me. It’s a ribbon printed jumper dress with a white polo shirt it has floral embroidery like design. I don’t wear dress and its color light blue it actually contrasts my personality and outer strong and daunting appearance. I still wore it or else Baekhyun will make me feel guilty again.

Right after changing, I can’t believe it. I feel I’m a different person. I tied my hair in a messy ponytail since I’m also tired. Twisting my body, I could clearly see my tattoo behind my ear and inhaled. “This is short.” My first time I’m going to wear something that shows my legs.

Contended, I stepped out of my room and they were talking when Sehun pointed me with his mouth formed into a small o. That was cute. I get embarrassed all of a sudden that I rejected their gaze and placed my hands behind my back walking closer to them. “To whoever chose this outfit, I hate you.”

I glanced at them and Suho is nodding his head like a father who just saw her daughter attending a prom after a total make-over. Kai smirked when his eyes glazed over my legs but he instantly received a punch from Kyungsoo. I can’t meet Baekhyun’s eyes, I feel so embarrassed.

“Okay, let’s go!” Chanyeol exclaimed and the other followed him behind.

I rolled my eyes but I just felt fingers interlacing against mine and saw it was Baekhyun smiling at me. “You look so adorable. It’s much better bringing a little color to your life, right?” he pulled me with him and we followed.

As we walk hand in hand, I found myself smiling. I should really enjoy this and try the things I never tried before my time when I can’t do these things anymore. He brushed his thumb over my knuckles and it sent me warm all over my body.
