Narrator’s POV

Eun Joo stared at Baehyun with slightly round eyes when he gripped onto Jin’s wrist while Jin smirked at him, trying to endure the pain. “Eun, is he your boyfriend?” after looking at him, his soft eyes glazed over her face to her eyes. “I didn’t know you already have a boyfriend.”

“How are you going to know? You left.” She mumbled coldly making Jin swallowed hard and his smile faded a little. He was hurt by her statement. “Baekhyun, stop it.” Still meeting eyes with Jin, Baekhyun took his grip off Jin. “It’s nice to see you again, Jin. Let’s go Baekhyun.” She passed by Jin when he grabbed her arm back, firing Baekhyun inside but Eun Joo stopped him from exploding. “What is it?”

Jin looked into her eyes. “Can we talk?”

Baekhyun made sure he’s seeing how he ran his hand to her arm until he reached your hands and interlaced their fingers together. “If you want to talk, I have to be with her. We’re a package deal.” He grinned.

Jin started walking with Eun Joo and Baekhyun. She’s between two tall boys while Baekhyun is making sure he’s closer to her than him. Once in a while, Jin will always look down at her while smiling so sweetly.  “Eun, do you still remember how we used to eat lunch together at the rooftop?”

Eun Joo weakly nodded her head. Memories during those times when she only have Jin beside her while everyone is pushing her away. Jin is the one and only person who will always protect her secretly. Whenever Eun Joo is getting in trouble, Jin will always do something for it not to happen and Eun Joo is not aware of it.

“Usually when you eat together and then everyone’s looking at you, you’re pretending that you have something to do and leaving her all of a sudden? Is that something to be bragging about?” Baekhyun asked, tone sharp.

Eun Joo looked at Baekhyun then to Jin who looked shock because of what Baekhyun just told him. “What are you talking about? I don’t remember you at school? Do you happen to be Eun Joo’s classmate?”

“You don’t know me, but I know everything about you.” He grinned. “Everything,” he glared at him. “Don’t try lying because I can read you.”
