I was selfish, I know.

I cheated on her, asked for forgiveness and she forgave me.

I promised I won't do it again.

Saying that I'll change.

But we're back to square one.

"I can't take this anymore. Let's break-up," that's what she said.

I should've stopped her. I should've told her to stay.

Instead I just nodded and watched as she picked up her bag and left my studio.

As she left my life.

Several years passed after that.

A mail arrived from Youngbae, a childhood friend of mine who lives in Busan.

It was a wedding invitation.

I called him.

"Hey man," he said.

"Hey, I received the invitation. Congrats man! But why didn't you tell me you're seeing someone?"

"Well, I told you two years ago, you just forgot about it."

"Huh? Well I guess I did forgot."

"Well, you're going to meet her next week. You'll love her, she's amazing."

"I'm sure I will. I'll see you soon man."

It's a lovely day in Busan. Cloudless sky and all.

He arrived at Youngbae's house. It was nostalgic for him, after all he grew up in this place.

"Hey man, it's good to see you!" Youngbae said, giving him a bro hug.

"It's good to see you to bro! Wait, is your soon-to-be bride here?"

"Yes, she's in the living room I think. Go there first, I'll just get some drinks in the kitchen. You still know your way inside the house right?"

"Of course."

He walked to the Dong's living room, and there she was, as delicate as ever, reading her favorite book.

"Sandara," he whispered.

She looked up at the mention of her name. Her eyes grew wide seeing me.

"Jiyong..." my name escaped her lips. It sounded as sweet as before.

But then I realized. She's going to be wedded to Youngbae in a couple of days.

I approached her and hugged her.

"Ji... please let go of me," she pleaded.

"No. I just want to hug you, even for the last time. I still love you Sandara."

I felt my shirt getting wet.

"I've missed you too, Ji. And God knows that I tried to forget you all these years, but I still love you Ji."

"But you'll be wedded to Bae in three days...."

"Huh?" she said, pushing me away.

"I'm not going to marry Bae-oppa," she mumbled.

"But..." I said.

"Oh, you met Sandy. She's Bom's sister, my future sis-in-law. Sandy, where's Bom?"

"She went in the garden," Sandara said.

"Wait here Ji, I'll just call her," Youngbae said and excused himself.

"My sister is the one going to marry oppa," Sandara informed him.

He sighed in relief.

"Sandara, all I thought about all these years is you. When I close my eyes all I see is you. I know it's hard for you to trust me again, but please give me one last chance."

"Yes Ji. But I swear, this would be the last chance you'll get."

"Well, all I need is one chance. I love you Sandara."

"I love you too, Ji."

And they kissed.

"Look how cute they are babe," Youngbae said.

"Finally, my sister's misery is over," Bom said, pecking Youngbae's lips.
