She watched the leaves fall. Leaves after leaves, hitting the cold damp ground. It wasn't winter yet, but she could feel the cold wind hitting her cheek like a sharp knife. The sun was beaming in the sky behind hard gray clouds. It was going to rain ,she thought. Her clothes felt heavy on her and her shoes were all soaked in mud. The wind blew again and she wished her hair could fly with them like they used to. But it's been a long time and she hardly remember that time of her life at all.
