Luck was never on Jung Mina's side. To begin with, her mother died in horrible car crash when she was barely two years old. Though her father loved her dearly, he was never the lovy-dovy type, and preferred his work rather than spending time with is own daughter. When she was six, her father remarried and Mina actually believed she would obtain the thing she longed for the most: a complete loving family. However, when her father  was called for another overseas business trip, her two-faced stepmother, who appeared kind at first glance, revealed her true colors when she forced Mina to carry out household duties that an average six-year-old would be unable to do. Eleven years pass, and luck still hasn't come to Cinderella's side.
