Sehun turned around and stared at his image on the mirror. He seemed so weak, so useless, so fragile. He couldn’t do anything. He just signed stupid papers all day long, forearms resting on his wooden desk with his head bent down, forced to read each and every article or contract for this empire. He took one last glance at the mirror, then he took off.

They think I’ll be the little obedient boy I am, huh? Well then, think again, peasants, your dear Prince is up for quite a thrilling adventure.

The sun was shining brightly but the face of the minister was indeed very, very dark.

“ I told you to get it signed, Secretary Soo.”

Kyungsoo shifted his feet nervously, a bead of sweat trickling down his temple.

“ I-I sincerely apologize, Sir.”

The Minister sighed as he sat down on his chair, he looked intently at Kyungsoo before signing a document that had been sitting on his desk for quite a long time now.

“ I’ve decided. Secretary Soo?”

Kyungsoo looked up to face him, eyes apologetic.

“ Yes, Sir?”

The Minister held out his hand which was holding the recently signed document.

“ You’re going for a…short journey.”

Ah, it was blinding.

The sun, he meant.

I just woke up from such a deep sleep and the first thing I see is the sun…

How exhilarating for a creature like me.

How long has it been? Months? Years? Decades? Ah, I’m old.

He got out from the abandoned tomb and brushed dust off of his shoulders.

“Well hello there, Life. Luhan is back.”

Kris x Luhan : OK. KrisHan is like adorable in my eyes so I ship them
