Kim Ryeowook - 21 June 1987.

"Keep your eyes closed Wookie, no peeking."

"Yes hyung."

Kim Ryeowook couldn't see a thing - with Kim Heechul's hands practically covering his face. He knew he was being led somewhere, but of course - the feline diva had given him no clues. As the sound of their footsteps changed - from hard taps to barely audible, Ryeowook knew he had either stepped onto carpet or grass. Sniffing slightly, Ryeowook couldn't smell any mould and the air was clear - so he deduced that he was outside.

His steps steady, the smaller male allowed his hyung to continue leading him to where ever their destination was - placing all his trust into the man. Suddenly, he was yanked backwards as Heechul cried, "Oh !" Reaching up, Ryeowook grabbed Heechul's forearms tightly, "What happened?" Heechul chuckled lightly, "Almost ran into a tree." Ryeowook sighed, "Hyung, where are we going?"

"Secret."

Rolling his eyes behind Heechul's hands, Ryeowook stayed silent - knowing he wasn't going to get anything out of the stubborn diva. Pulling him forward again, Heechul's pace got a little quicker, until suddenly - he stopped. Keeping a hand over Ryeowook's face, Heechul tugged a silk blindfold from his pocket and tied it over Ryeowook's face, "Yah!" Ryeowook exclaimed, reaching up to tug the material off but Heechul slapped his hands gently, "Uh uh! You need to keep that on until I say so."

Hanging his head, Ryeowook allowed his hands to drop as Heechul's presence vanished from his side. Scuffing his boots against the ground, Ryeowook couldn't help but think he must look absolutely ridiculous - standing alone, with a blindfold over his eyes.

"Ryeowook, you can take off the blindfold now!

Heechul's voice flowed into Ryeowook's ears and the man reached up to untie the material. As the silk dropped away from his eyes, Ryeowook squinted to get used to the suddenly bright light - but once he adjusted, the man stepped back in shock as his fellow Super Junior members all jumped up shouting, "SURPRISE~!"

Staring open-mouthed in surprise, Ryeowook took in the smiling faces of his hyungs - even Kyuhyun cracked a genuine smile! Letting his gaze travel around everyone that was gathered, he noticed that Leeteuk had taken leave off the army to see him. His eyes finally leaving his fellow members, Ryeowook noticed the table a little off to the side - covered in party food and the ground underneath was littered with presents.

Even with the happy atmosphere and the numerous amounts of gifts - Ryeowook couldn't help but feel a little sad. It was true that Leeteuk had taken the time to see him… But where was Yesung? Frowning slightly, Ryeowook decided to let it pass, reasoning that his hyung had only been in the army for just over a month and that he was unable to get time off. Shrugging his shoulders, Ryeowook made his way over to hug his hyungs as they all wished him a happy birthday. Smiling, the man made his rounds before returning back to Heechul's side.

"You ok, Wookie?"

Leeteuk's concerned voice had everyone looking at Ryeowook, who flushed a little under their gazes, "Y-yes Teukie hyung, I'm fine." Raising an eyebrow at him, Leeteuk shrugged, "Should we open your presents now?" Nodding, Ryeowook couldn't help but laugh as Donghae and Eunhyuk bounded up to him with a large box - carried carefully in between them, "Ours first! Ours first!" They chanted. Rolling his eyes, Ryeowook took the box and set it on the ground gently, before jumping back when the box moved.

"What is it?!"

Ryeowook yelped, as scrabbling noises came from inside, "Look inside silly." Donghae encouraged, gesturing to the box and Ryeowook moved closer tentatively. Reaching out, he flipped the lid off the box and instantly squealed in delight, "A PUPPY! Omo, it's so cute~!" Eunhyuk laughed, "She's a pomeranian, just like hyung's Kkoming." Ryeowook couldn't keep the grin off his face as he scooped the white fluff ball out from the box, "She's adorable! Does she have a name?" Donghae shook his head.

"Gyeoul."

A deep voice sounded from behind the group, making them turn to face the newcomer. Ryeowook's eyes widened and filled with happy tears, as he clutched the puppy a little tighter to his chest before running towards the man like his life depended on it. Opening his arms, Yesung caught Ryeowook in a gentle embrace, careful of the puppy in the smaller man's arms, "I'm sorry I'm late. I couldn't get away in time."

Shaking his head, Ryeowook let himself drown in Yesung's smooth voice and his warm hold, sighing out happily and laughing when the puppy suddenly squirmed around so she could at his face, "Stop that~" He laughed, petting her head gently, "You should call her Gyeoul." Yesung said quietly and Ryeowook looked up at him, "Because she's white?" Yesung nodded.

"Hey baby, you're name is Gyeoul." Ryeowook cooed, bringing the puppy up to his face and nuzzling her softly. Soon enough, their little moment was interrupted by impatient shouts for Ryeowook to open his other presents. The two laughed, Ryeowook grabbing a hold of Yesung's left hand and holding his new princess with the other, "Come on. I think this birthday just got a whole lot better."

Smiling, Yesung let go of Ryeowook's hand and draped his arm across the smaller man's shoulder, "Glad to hear it." He said, pulling Ryeowook in and planting a small kiss on his temple. "Yup," Ryeowook grinned;

"Much better."
